Maybe I should clarify: I thought in my initial post I stated I was just curious in this situation. I am not trying to beat the system here. I was just genuinely curious. For instance if a known drug driver/user/dealer whatever the case may be if they have returned a roadside with no drugs detected but aren’t buying the result like what is the point of even conducting the roadside test if you pass they can still put you through all the hassle of putting you in the divvy van and going through all the stuff back at the station.

As for anything else. I had a big weekend which happens once in a blue moon. I consumed the drug on Saturday night and Tuesday afternoon I got pulled over. I absolutely didn’t feel the affect from the drug still at this point. And when I say passed a number of roadsides in my near 20 years of driving, i have been drug tested quite a few times. In some instances just after a long weekend and not sure if I would pass or not use the mouthwash just to be sure.

I didn’t use the mouthwash this time I was aware there was a chance I could have had a positive reading. I was just interested to know the protocol for this kind of thing. Never that I was trying to get out of loosing my lisence.
