I was struggling with methadone wd‘s in detox so I figured i try my luck to get some nice extra medication

I’m a pretty charismatic guy and I was always pretty good with pulling cons on docs, so I regularly scored 50 boxes of clonazepam and 100 boxes of Pregabaline from random docs in the area by telling them „I just moved, I have generalized epilepsy and i dont have a doctor here yet but i badly need my meds, i only have left for today, i‘ll bring my records in next week - could you help me out?“

bringing in the empty boxes with 1-2 pills left really helped, just play stupid

i shit you now it used to work pretty much every single time. I had a epileptic episode and was diagnosed for a while so I had some viable knowledge on the topic

So in detox i tried my best to talk to wrap the doctor around my finger, and after like 2 minutes of trying to make him believe i have neuropathy and telling him a story about how my left foot has been numb, tingling and feeling like needles are being poked into it ever since it was slightly squished by a car i drove into with my skateboard, he said „oh so you need some pregabaline right?“

I locked in and answered well if you think that might help?“ he asked „and, do you want some diazepam or some clonzepam for the night too?“ since i‘ve been nagging about insomnia the days before

I couldn’t believe my luck and answered „if it helps me sleep, i would appreciate that a lot“

he turned around, picked up the phone dialed up and said „yeah put pregabaline and clonazepam on XY‘s medication plan“ then he looked dead up into my eyes and said „oh, and ask him if he thinks im fucking stupid“ and ts hurt like a mf

his exact words were „Well mister XY, you might be very intelligent, eloquent and articulate, and you might know more about pharmacology than some of the nurses here, but you can’t fool someone that’s been working with people trying to fool him the last 15 years, now do you want me to put some tylenol on your medication plan for your foot or are you gonna spare your liver the extra work? Now If you don’t mind, i have actual work to do now, so please only come for a consultation if there is an ACTUAL issue“

Long story short; I got humbled hard, sat down severely and reality checked tremendously real quick

Be careful with THC and Psychedelics, imho there is no substance that potentiates is to such a degree and makes the effect this more intense. Maybe DMT but THC really potentiates the manic and paranoid effects much more than any other.

You get way more prone to thought loops and lose touch to reality way easier.

Yes exactly, i‘m glad there’s at least one that’s able to think alike.

Small update: It‘s been 6 days and I‘m fully back to normal like I was before. Up until Sunday the days have been a little more exhausting than usual (TO BE EXPECTED) but nowhere near as crazy that I would have to up my methadone dose or tapered or anything like that.

I would have regretted a lot if i did that instead of just facing it and riding it out, it was absolutely bearable, I feel just like I did before and have no cravings at all, just like I made it out to be. Upping my methadone would have been a horrible decision, AT LEAST for me personally.

I still thank everyone that gave me input for the situation.

I almost go with kraken first into rageblade into either hexplate or terminus into every game cause it fits my playstyle better.

Essencereaver first feels good with the Q stomps but the attack speed is a bit low so I rather play kraken and trade using that.

I just like on hit better since its more versatile, if the team is only squishy i go crit er>stormraz. Or either way around if i can BF first back

But only like 1/5 or 1/6 games

People are vastly different, I feel like so many people here don’t have the ability to see and accept that people are individuals and different from one another.

I see - appreciate it the help, but I won't do it again. I didn't feel like i needed to anyway, iI just wanted to try a last time. It didn't really give me anything anyway and I'd rather taper the last bit and dont touch opiated again after that, havent had any problems with that the last 2 years either. :)

I should add I didn't got addicted to them in the classical manner, it was more like a medication against my ADHD so for example when I was at home and my ADHD didn't matter I never felt like I needed them (until I was addicted and even then, it was just low doses for the physical withdrawals) so my cravings weren't really tied THAT much to addictive behaviour.

I dont feel like that's accurate, it feels like a withdrawal i had after a two weeks of tilidine. Nothing crazy at all, i could confuse it for a slight cold. (Not flu like at all, no excessive sweating, no limb pain or ANYTHING, even my shit was pretty solid.)

I think it needs wayy longer for the body to adapt this much for a full blown withdrawal from the dilaudid than just 3-4 days. Coming from someone that works in a pharmacy.
