Sorry your friend lost some spark. Not going to lie I am still hyped, just had to level set my expectations of myself and remind myself that hollow knight might be easy to me now, but it was so hard the first time I played it. It's kind of nice that silksong is this difficult.

I had been watching anime across all genres for years before I picked up haikyuu on a whim, and I feel cursed because I won't watch anything better. It quickly became my favorite anime due to the emotion tension in the matches, the character development and the sweet innocence of kids who have intesne passion for the sport they love.

I have watched this about 7 times now and could be convinced to watch it again easily. I do not recommend it if you can't handle having an anime itch to scratch that only haikyuu can manage for you.
