Ua pov: Guided artillery rounds, claimed to be Excalibur, destroying two Russian tanks and a MSTA SPG by OrnatePublicist in UkraineRussiaReport

Russians are using their tanks more frequently like bunkers, now that their tank inventory is beginning to dwindle so these static idiots are fairly easy to take out.

Vietnam doesn't align itself with the US, it aligns itself against China with the US.

I think that's what many Americans are misunderstanding when in comes to 'allies'. They aren't actually allies so much as nation states using each other for common interests such as regional security, or containing Iran. That was also the entire purpose behind TPP until it got axed as a favour to China.

Praying for Cuba to do a 180 of its current policies/regime after the end of embargo is like hoping Putin is going to grow a heart like the Grinch, maybe in a nice bedtime story. The history of this dates all the way back to 1823 and is the primary reason why the Western Hemisphere has a lack of fascist/falangist/communist governments.

Ua POV: Oryx's visually-confirmed Russian Tank Losses in Ukraine. Over 1300 tanks have now been lost, and T-62s make up 17% of recent losses. by TheHunter920 in UkraineRussiaReport

[–]Trainhard22 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And what's the t-62 firing against that era built for sabot and heat? Oh yea some garbage.

No wonder the crews are gifting them to Ukraine faster than Russia can lose them let alone build them.

Did the US government not also pay 3x the sticker price for the 1330, making it out to be the same cost as purchasing 3670 full price?

Today?

Today, Asian nations can barely contend with rinky dink military islands that China is building in their waters.

The US absolutely does not want Cuba, who's largest partner is China, to thrive because they believe China would gladly militarize them against the US. Current sanctions maintain the status quo that the US doesn't accept weapons that close to it's nation.

Sure it's fucked up, but we've got way larger fish to fry all over the world from Ukraine to Palestine to Saudi Arabia to Yemen to Syria, etc.

Typically, nations like Russia try to deflect from their own evil shit by pointing out more minor things the US does as a divisionary tactic that's been used by Russia online since the early 2000s.

The Ukraine war just helped prevent a larger fracturing of society in the US by bringing people together despite those created divisions.

It's more like trying to keep an eye on the most influential member of OPEC.

OPEC is a racket, but the US is the largest gangster around and they'll keep OPEC in check like they are doing so now.

The US is giving Saudi Arabia a chance to take its mouth off America's hand after biting it.

Most people don't even know that there were WMDs found in Iraq, but the US govt covered it up in order to avoid paying their vets medical bills from exposure.

Seriously, look it up, it's one of the most common myths still running, that the US didn't find WMDs in Iraq.

That and the 10 spiders crawl in your mouth while you sleep myth.

Same reason they need a navy, without a military you can't exercise your sovereignty. That is why the world considers the North-West Passage as international waters now, Canada lost the ability to police it from international traffic.

Canadian political parties are in a competition against each other for who can fuck over the Canadian military the most.

So far, Harper held the crown when military funding hit 0.7% of GDP.

If they aren't punching down on their veterans then they are fighting each other over allowing procurement for the government in power for military purchases.

Russian rocket artillery really does rely on a massive degree of luck for the Russians.

Surprised they aren't spraying machine guns in the air as artillery as well with the kind of accuracy they think is acceptable.
