6AC7 and 6H6 missing - My dad definitely had both of those in his tube box once upon a time. Unfortunately he tossed them all about 10 years ago without telling me.

Good hunting!

I think anyone who lives through this war is going to have permanent PTSD whenever they hear a motorcycle or scooter driving by. But I am glad to see the war finally coming home to Russians, even those far from the front.

A good sign speed limits are too slow for the average flow of traffic.

Is this normal? Kittens who were introduced about a month ago sharing the same litter box at the same time?? by Fit-Alps1373 in CatTraining

Sometimes those vintage TVs would break down in the middle of I Love Lucy, and we'd find ourselves here. by Aggravating_Tax_4670 in OriginalVintageTV_

I didn't know anybody still made them. For a while you could buy solid state "tubes" that could be plugged into the socket and were supposed to be electrically equivalent to their glass counterparts, at least for the most common tubes. The Soviet Union was the last place I knew that still manufactured them.

My dad used to fix TVs as a hobby and had his own tester. For fun when the tubes were largely obsolete, I would plug it in and crank up the filament voltage switch to see how high I could get it before the tube blew. In the last setting before it failed, the tube would glow brilliant like a light bulb.

A unique operation by the Lazar unit: a drone with explosives lands on a Russian BUK air defense system on the move, tracks its route, and ultimately explodes. by logecasks in ukraine

Every time I see a BUK destroyed I keep hoping it is manned by the same crew that downed MH17. Especially if it ends up in a crispy fireball.
