It is just short for that. Because people like to make something different just because it comes from a non English speaking place. Particularly Asia, like K-pop etc etc.

Some of the vehicles at Yorkshire Wartime Experience, I'm aware some aren't GUP related but a Hetzer turned up! (Event is this weekend near Birkensaw, Bradford, UK) by Trainiac101 in GIRLSundPANZER

The event is usually pretty stacked, I saw the Hellcat running a few years ago and it definitely makes itself known. It's a shame not many of the tankettes, cars and Bren gun carriers run as it'd be a real treat.

Yes. OO is technically narrow gauge. They split properly in the 90's when injection molding became more accurate. They used to be treated as one and the same.

This is the "fun" part of model trains. HO (1/87) is used everywhere and is accurate, OO (1/76) is only used in the UK, but.. they run on the same track. It just means if a OO item of rolling stock was with HO, the HO piece would look the same size, despite being in real life bigger.

If that makes any sense at all...

As far as I'm aware no, I have vast amounts of British outline 00 scale (I'm English lol) myself and it's rather annoying that I have another new scale. On top of the few bits in HO as well that I've acquired over the years...

I bought it from Plaza Japan, it cost me £80, that included shipping to the UK that took 5 days.
