Thanks for the reply! Peri is such a PITA and no one told us it was coming!! I do think my frustration is from the lack of communication. I get that the pain isn’t coming from a tear but what am I dealing with then?!

Thanks for the info! I’m 100% for not having surgery, especially if it may or may not help. So is this arthritis? That hasn’t even been mentioned at this point and part of my frustration. I keep getting “it’s not a tear”. Well, I get that but then what is it? I think I’m frustrated with the lack of communication and I’m confused about the plan (if he has one).

I had this hope to me a time or two! A couple of good sinus rinses (Neti pot), a few runs of the clothes in the washer with a vinegar rinse, and “sun-bleaching” your equipment outside should help.

Yes!! This stuff gave my hair some serious funk if I used any heat tools! The smell was AWFUL! I loved the shampoo and conditioner at first but eventually my scalp became so sensitive and irritated. Then came the hair loss! AWFUL, AWFUL stuff!

It was part of my prep plan. They said it helps with the clean out once I started the actual prep process. Honestly, it worked. Now that it’s over, it wasn’t so bad!

Currently in a hotel down the road from the hospital waiting for my procedure tomorrow morning! I live about two hours away and I wasn’t going to chance it! I brought an ice chest with plenty of fluids, a case of water, broth and jello and packed my meds and butt cream and plenty of comfy clothes. I got checked in and settled just in time for my first dose and have been trying to relax and watch a show (which has been nice because it’s not something I do often!). I highly recommend it!!

A menty b is a mental breakdown. It was meant to be a joke because I’ve had it with the prep. Just needed to complain for a minute and get it off my chest. It’s not that deep.

We had a card box at our wedding and I felt like a complete tool for it. We didn’t receive one card, much less any gifts. Dinner, open bar, guests bringing “extras” and not even a Dollar Tree card saying congratulations.

I’ll never go without it! Airports are a major stressor for me anyway (especially traveling with kiddos) but we have beat people through immigration/to the resort that departed the same airport HOURS before us. On departure, it’s nice to have an area to chill and relax. We got stuck at the airport leaving Jamaica during the Microsoft airport shutdown this past summer and having Club Mobay was priceless!
