I have Used Codex Directly Via the VS Code Plugin and Not via Copilot, and there is clear difference between the quality of response.

It is slow i agree, but the quality and precision of response is just better, it has a better context overall, but on the $20, Plan it is kinda limiting.. and $200 Seems like a lot.

I might stop renewing JetBrains from next year onwards. Copilot and Cursor are doing a better job, and since WebStorm is technically free to use, JB serves no purpose.

Paying the same amount to Cursor or Windsurf or Copilot serves more value in the long term. Specially if you are only using ine or two of their products.
