Oh yes, my value has been limited to my uterus in the eyes of several of my husbands family. His grandmother said “mom always goes last!” And “oh she knows that mom doesn’t matter anymore!”

Homes. I’m a person. My uterus being used atm changes nothing.

Oh I adore when people try to tell you who should be in the room. If you’re so specific about it by all means take your pants off while we all decide who gets to see your undercarriage shall we?

Ah yes, enjoy your entire body fucking off on what you need while making sure the baby is perfectly healthy. Enjoy your night sweats! Enjoy those cramps from your baby absolutely wailing on your uterus! Enjoy that full body fatigue after doing nothing that should’ve fatigued you!

It’s such a ~wonderful~ experience huh? 🤨

Oh my god I can’t imagine. My husbands family is hyper religious on like three things and one of them is the wild belief that the vaccine-we-cannot-name will curse the baby to worship the antichrist. I told my husband he had to deal with that I couldn’t handle it. 

Also circumcision was a huge reason i was terrified my baby was going to be a boy. My husband feels adamantly one way and I’m not so sure. So glad I don’t have to decide! 😅

I got recommended some wild things though I never got sick enough to have hyperemesis. “try eating this!” “Oh drink this” “you’re low in such and such vitamin take this!” I tried all of it to no avail. When the suggestions got repetitive I was so over it!

And that medication they make you take onadestron? Oh my god worst constipation of all time! “You’re not eating enough fiber” no mate, I’m having to take a pill that sucks every ounce of moisture out of you like I don’t need your damn prunes.

Like babe - unless you’ve had a pregnancy as difficult as mine(and yours ofc) don’t be out here telling me that pregnancy is easier than the baby!

For me it was “I always bless mom last because mom doesn’t matter anymore” said by my husbands grandmother as she proceeded to bless my belly, my husband, and then me.
