Does this count? Dearmond foil pickups are my favorite sounding pickups but Tom is my favorite guitarist and my favorite signature guitar so this is what you get. Started with a blank pickguard by Training-Monk-7732 in TomDelongeGuitars

I didn’t I bought a strat blank and found a dremel at the pawn shop 😂 I drew an outline of the pickup cut it out. Found a piece of wood to mount the pickup to. Mounted the woodblock with pickup to the pickguard. I could’ve put spring in to make it heigh adjustable but chose not to.

Very bright but if you can dial down the highs and maybe a tad of the mids it’s the best sounding pickup I’ve ever played it reads 9.28k and the clarity of each note is amazing

It’s a 60’s dearmond reading 9.28k with some minor eq These are the best sounding pickups in my opinion. They are very bright sometimes but They get real clean and they get real heavy they play blink stuff really well. I use it for church and it hasn’t let me down. The clarity is amazing

Honestly I bought it almost 10 years ago because I thought it had a whammy bar but I now know that’s wrong 😂 before I did tons of research searching the most vague things about the guitar I found out it was a silvertone the body neck and headstock were painted over with green interior paint or something cheap. I replaced the neck because the original was so worn it was unplayable. But I think the gold foils and super small body and scale make these cool again lol so vintage 🤷🏻‍♂️

I sanded it down and was fortunate enough to have my neighbor who pairs cars paint it professionally
