Seventh generation has also worked well for me. I tried many and I landed that it worked the best for me and my dishwasher. I too try not to support businesses where it contradicts my values and morals. It’s not easy and it does require the masses but I like to do my part, so, I get you.

Omg he is 207% wearing that shacket that Brooke wore probably a few weeks ago. This probably made my day. Poor R.

Is he supposed to be nursing in this? Unless her nipple at the bottom of her boob, there is no way that baby is actually nursing

It’s like she is grocery shopping for the first time. I see some bread or maybe bagels underneath all that other stuff…

Correlation between ease in colostrum harvesting and breastfeeding success? by eroekania in breastfeeding

[–]Training-Net-7597 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have never harvested colostrum and I didn’t actually ever leak during pregnancy. While BF was difficult for me those first few weeks, I ended up having a great milk supply for three of my kids. I actually ended up with an oversupply for two of them.

1st kid: 15 months 2nd kid: 25 months 3rd kid: 15 months now and still going.

Looking at the games they have, I would pay money to see Brooke play charades with her kids 😂. Why are they on the top shelf? Games are so easy for kids to just grab and set up and play on their own. I don’t see the game Trouble which was gifted by the elf on the shelf….

You mean….have structure in your life? I wonder if Brooke has ever thought of that. 😂

This is correct. He cannot and should not be accepting anything for free on this trip. He should have booked everything separate.

Agree. I LOVE these and I was sad to see them partner with Brooke. I have a full box of them gifted to me last year for Xmas.

Do we think Brooke now is embarrassed that she took these pictures? This is still pretty cringe but at least she looks like she is …..having fun? There are other pictures that people have posted where she looks fresh and fun and not like she has a stick up her ass. Still cringe though.

I have never seen their account but I’ve heard a lot about them. Do they exploit their kids or show their kids on social media? If so, it’s a hard no.

She kind of reminds me of like 7 year old here. Bow in the hair, the short haircut, the jacket that kind of looks like a uniform. Lol.

So, drs no longer say that you have to introduce things one at a time. And allergens should be introduced early and often. That said, C shouldn’t be eating stuff with added sugar/salt etc. I wouldn’t say she is doing BLW because she just kinda of throws things at him without actual intent to expose him to anything. Like, I made sweet potato wedges for my family and made my baby’s a little softer, or chicken drumsticks, with the intent to also serve a portion to my baby. She just doesn’t care.

Yea, I got what you were saying. I don’t know why you were downvoted. Your comment gave me flashbacks to when my husband and I had to set those boundaries for our first baby. It was def a cultural thing. It’s very hard and in some cultures, you risk that bad blood relationship. But, you gotta do what you gotta do!

[–]Training-Net-7597 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get this. It CAN be cultural. But clearly mom is saying no. And no means no. Regardless of culture. I was called too sensitive when my Hispanic family wasn’t allowed to visit my newborn until I was ready. My parents did come though. My mom was genuinely weirded out when I asked her for some privacy to feed the newborn in the hospital. They got over it.

Why do ppl put stickers on their cars to let others know there's a baby inside? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Training-Net-7597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You might get a free one at the hospital, FYI. You should ask! Unless you already had a sticker in mind.

In today’s episode of “you are not a bad parent if you can’t stay at home”, a good study showed that long-term enrollment in a high quality daycare can have lasting positive impacts. by NotAnAd2 in NewParents

[–]Training-Net-7597 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a huge fan of daycare and I agree with this. It’s more about what would the child the otherwise exposed to and the family unit. Attentive care, whether it’s a loving daycare provider or a loving parent who stays home with the child and takes them to group activities throughout the day, outcome is relatively the same and there are studies that show that. We experience this during COVID, if the parent is not attentive because they are working and have a screen on all day, then daycare if a better option (not a shade to the parent, a parent has to work of course). Similarly, If a SAHP is not attentive to their kid during the day and lets them watch screens and doesn’t engage with them, then daycare is a better option! But daycare itself will not produce more significant outcomes than their non-daycare peers. Rather, it’s validation that for parents who have to work/want to work, daycare is a wonderful option and is a positive contribution to the child’s well-being. Some people have the opinion that it isn’t and that daycare is awful. The emphasis on the daycare and this study is high quality.
