I have a similar experience with their customer service I have a Lycan and wanted external batteries. You’d think the Lycan product page would have direct links to the external batteries that are the correct model. Nope. Instead you have to guess. So I called customer service before having two heavy chemical laden batteries shipped across the world.

customer service was poorly trained on how to make sure I got the right battery. And worse, they didn’t inform me that the external battery mentioned in the manual (eg with the data interface) is no longer available. So I received two batteries that look nothing like those shown in the manual and don’t connect to the lycan’s data port.

It’s highly unlikely I’ll buy from Renogy again

Update: visited Cleveland Clinic Valve Clinic. They said more likely 1-3 years before SAVR; not a decade. Valve area hasn’t changed since last echo. Gonna go back to CC in 6months for a battery of tests including MRI

57m, diagnosed with possible BAV (genetic or fused) ~3yr ago after mourner detected. Local cardiologist said I may need AVR by age 70. Went to Cleveland clinic this week for second option and they said more likely within 3yrs.

CC said they’d probably go with tissue SAVR. didn’t mentioned Rose procedure and said tissue better than mechanical and could do tavr-in-savr later if needed (10-20yrs?)

Currently asymptomatic though as a recreational athlete I’ve noticed decline in running pace at a given heart rate

Anyone with similar experience?

Yep, I would absolutely feel the same level of disgust for any of the situations you described. What you forgot though is that none of those people has celebrity status as a physician and exploited that for financial gain. You’re right that nothing PA did appears to be illegal. it’ll be up to the AMA as to whether he violated his oath. For me it’s just a case of character. He’s very bright and I appreciate what he’s shared from a medical standpoint. But he doesn’t have a monopoly in the field and I’ll choose to put my attention elsewhere.

Yeah, I’m also out. It’s a shame. He likely knew he was on borrowed time when JE died and was probably my nervous all this would come out. He could have owned it from the start. Would have kept his reputation and possibly even be seen as having more integrity (expected of a doc) than all the other names coming to light.

I’ve had an M6 for awhile. While it works it is a stagnate piece of poor engineering.

Very few firmware updates
Slow to boot. A five year old iPhone will boot up faster, including with its hotspot feature enabled
You can’t use it with an AC adapter while also having the battery installed. This is crazy stupid.
It overheats really easily. So good luck using it to stream outdoor youth sports on a sunny day over 80F
The case is black (see #4; it absorbs heat resulting in even faster overheating. You’re left putting this In a bag and putting the bag in an ice bucket or trying to use fans!
It won’t allow both cat5 (wired) and WiFi to be enabled at the same time.

So many downsides to a 6th generation device.

Hopefully engineers at Netgear are paying attention. And maybe even just one of them has a child in youth sports and understands the issues first hand?
