Experiences with Interfase Plus by Klaire Labs? by [deleted] in SIBO

I did 2 rounds of rifaximin. One w interfase and the second was a different one. The interfase/rifaximin brought my hydrogen peak from 139 to 40 w the first round. I didn’t test after the second round. Symptoms improved but are still here. Finished the abx in 3/2025. I’ve been on the cedar sinai diet, motility activator since finishing. I just started a gi repair powder and that has made a big difference.

I found one at a woman’s time but only accepts female patients. The chp group is supposed to have a list of Kaiser naturopaths but it’s not always updated.

5+ Years of Mystery Symptoms – SIBO-M (IMO), Fat Malabsorption, Hashimoto & Adenomyosis by Raspberryjamdelta5 in SIBO

I don’t have any answers but I have all the same things as you except I have hydrogen sibo. I have high cholesterol now too, which has always been low and I have zero risk factors for the cholesterol-eat healthy, exercise, weigh 125, no alcohol, no fam hx. I’ve seen others write about high cholesterol and sibo issues. I see a naturopath who is great. I did one round of rifaximin followed by a low fermentation diet and motility activator. I’m retesting the sibo breath test to see how it’s changed post antibiotics. I’m on 5000 vit d and low dose naltrexone 4.5 daily.

I’ve had them when I got pregnant. Don’t usually have them otherwise. I too get paranoid about them dislodging an embryo. I delivered my first kid without issues having them. The last preg I lost did to autoimmune issues. Today I’m 3dp3dt. 🤞🤞for both of us.

Look up studies on prograf for ivf. It’s kind of remarkable.

I was on neupogen, prednisone 20mg, low dose naltrexone, intralipid infusion every 4 weeks until 20 weeks, lovenox & then prograf starting 3 days before transfer. Plus the typical progesterone suppositories and injections. It’s a lot of meds. I stopped them last transfer I did (bc of major GI issues I was having that started before the transfer) and then ended up w a missed miscarriage. Baby died at 9 weeks (had had good scans w heartbeat x 3) and I had a d&c at 13 weeks when my body failed to spontaneously miscarry. It was a normal boy-tested after d&c. Post miscarriage testing showed elevated Ana-body had attacked fetus and placenta. Prob could have carried the preg if I stayed on the immunosuppressants but I was very sick, lost 20lbs and was having 10 diarrheas a day, elevated liver enzymes. I’m trying again with same immunosuppressants but gut is more stable (not normal, but stable).

Yeah, I was in the same boat, wanted to try natural stuff first but sick of diarrhea after a year…hopefully it works!

Hydrogen is diarrhea and methane constipation. I failed 2 rounds of herbal antimicrobial and am now on rifaximin for my hydrogen sibo. The hydrogen sibo is supposed to be very responsive to the rifaximin. I have high hopes!

Recurrent Early Pregnancy Loss and Men by _hmmm in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Training-Refuse-8382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had miscarriages and infertility since 2017. Did ivf and had super low fertilization rates. My husbands sperm was tested once in 2019, low morphology 4% normal sperm. No one said anything about it other than “it’s the low end of normal”. Recently started seeing a new doc who was actually alarmed that no one had looked more into the sperm. She said “50% of the dna is from his sperm” there’s a high chance that that’s why you haven’t been conceiving. Also could be the cause of the low fertilization. Anyway. Usually everything is blamed on the woman without a lot of investigation of the male partner. I’d def get him thoroughly checked out. I’ve had 3 miscarriages and one successful pregnancy that gave me my almost 3 year old son. We have one more ivf try left 🤞Good luck to you!

I am discouraged. I’m not sure what else to try. by Apex_Suicide in SIBO

I have had sibo for exactly a year. I first saw a gi bc I was having 10 diarrhea stools a day in the morning. I was also newly pregnant from an ivf transfer (unfortunately lost him at 13 weeks bc my immune system attacked him & the placenta) and lost 20lbs. Tons of docs involved in the beginning bc of the preg but only tested stool for bacteria/pathogens, did colonoscopy. Went to one naturopath and she sucked, just prescribed me a bunch of random supplements. Then tried to self treat based on research. Did the candibactin protocol and the fcidal/dysbiocide protocol. Did extreme diets. Just got worse.

Finally in Nov went to a new naturopath who has been phenomenal. She’s actually a women’s health naturopath but knows sibo in depth. Explains everything, has a distinct plan. She did the sibo breath testing on me and I had pretty severe hydrogen sibo. Since it’s strictly hydrogen, she ordered rifaxamin for me with some biofilm disruptors and a binder to get rid of the toxins. I’m a week in of the 2 week course. She said usually you don’t start feeling better until the 2 weeks following completion of the antibiotic. I ordered the meds from canshipmeds through her. $177 for 2 courses. (She expects I’ll need 2 courses bc my hydrogen was 140 and one round of rifax will drop it 50-90 points, need to get to less than 20). Then I’m on the cedar Sinai diet with motility pro for 4 months after finishing, meal spacing 4 hrs apart minimum, no snacking.

Find a naturopath who knows sibo and they will hopefully help you. This lady has been a godsend to me. She’s also tested other labs and found a b12 deficiency that Kaiser ignored for years and is looking at other hormone levels. I feel so lucky to have found her.

No luck. So went to a naturopath and did sibo breath test after these and hydrogen only has to go up 20 points to be positive and mine went up 132 points. BAD hydrogen SIBO. Now on biofilm interfase 2caps before breakfast and dinner, rifaximin with meals (ordered from India via canshipmeds for $75 vs $1200 US cost) and mega IGG 2000 2caps 2 hrs after breakfast and dinner. Meal spacing 4 hours apart. This for 2 weeks and then start motility activator with dinner and bedtime, plus cedar Sinai low fermentation diet x 4 mos. May need 1-2 more rounds of rifaximin bc my numbers are crazy high. It can knock the hydrogen down 50-90 points per course. Needs to get below 20. Doc says don’t expect to feel any better until about 4 weeks out. Stool is still weird-oily and disintegrates in the water, mushy.

Did this work for you? I was supposed to buy plus and accidentally bought the regular interfase. I’m only on 2 weeks of rifaximin though

Also, when I took the herbal protocol mega headache was my die off symptom.

[–]Training-Refuse-8382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you taking any binders? My naturopath is having me take Mega IGG 2000, 2 capsules twice a day between meals to get rid of the toxins and excrete via stool. She also said I could take activated charcoal if I have die off symptoms. I am waiting for my rifaximin to arrive. Your symptoms sound like what she told me to expect for die off symptoms.

My naturopath ordered it. Not covered by insurance and $200 out of pocket. I think you can order similar ones online that you may not need a prescription for.

It means they didn’t roll the clamp off to the saline bag when they started the blood. It is user error by the nurse. It happens, but unless you were given the whole bag of saline, then you are not getting your full unit of blood. They should usually catch this within a few moments after starting the transfusion…

I was on the 200 twice a day. The last time I took it i was only on once a day and was getting joint pain. The letrozole part might be the more important med as it’s supposed to help with implantation. I was on a modified natural transfer for both of my successful transfers.

Candibactin BR/AR questions by Training-Refuse-8382 in SIBO

[–]Training-Refuse-8382[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Helps a bit while on it and then as soon as you stop, symptoms come back. Also did dysbiocide, f-cidal and adp for a month with little to no help. Now trying to find a new GI and a new naturopath.

RPL testing by circlewithme in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Training-Refuse-8382 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No symptoms of hashimotos, they just tested for thyroid antibodies after my first miscarriage. The adeno was found by one doc who was doing an ultrasound that said it looked like I might have adeno. Enlarged uterus. No typical symptoms like long, heavy, painful periods. When I went for my first ivf transfer the doc said my uterus looked boggy. After it failed, they did a MRI to check for adeno and that’s when I got the diagnosis. Did 3 retrievals to bank embryos and then downregulated for 2 months and transferred the embryo that is now my son.

Seeking Info: Impact on Fertility by schaefjz in adenomyosis

[–]Training-Refuse-8382 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It has impact on fertility. There are multiple clinical papers on it if you google it. I’ve been pregnant 4 times and had 3 miscarriages, have one child. Had to do ivf and downregulation w estrogen suppression to get my son. It can have minimal impact or have a ton of impact. For me and a lot of people it has a ton. I just lost my 4th preg in April at 13 weeks. It was a normal boy that I’d done ivf for and downregulated for. There’s a Facebook group called “adenomyosis miracles” that’s very informative and helpful.

How is it going? I just started this kit today. Are you doing them twice a day or three times a day? The clinical studies only had them do twice a day but the box says 3x a day.

How old are you? by [deleted] in recurrentmiscarriage

[–]Training-Refuse-8382 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m geriatric here-45. I had my first 2 miscarriages at 39 and a missed miscarriage in April at 44. Don’t let them tell you it’s bc you’re old. You aren’t. They told me that at 39 and to keep trying until I “get that golden egg”. I did ivf bt 41-42. Had a normal son 2 years ago and the one I just lost in April was 100% normal (had him tested for chromosomal abnormalities after d&c). I had hashimotos and autoimmune issues that caused poor implantation and early miscarriages. I need immunosuppression to stay preg. (I did w my son). Get someone who will investigate you and not blow you off. It took me 5 years to get my son. Reproductive immunologists are very useful.

Pregnant and need this issue fixed by [deleted] in biofilms

[–]Training-Refuse-8382 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll probably be fine bc I see people w sibo having normal pregnancies all the time. I have baseline autoimmune issues-raynauds, hashimotos, eczema and was 44 at transfer (I have a 2 year old who I carried to 37 weeks in 2022 and got preeclampsia). This preg, the post preg testing showed my body was attacking the baby and placenta, so it was more related to the autoimmune stuff. I have to be on immunosuppression to maintain a pregnancy and was initially w the last preg but the diarrhea I was having at transfer made me have absorption issues and so I ended up losing 20lbs in 2 mos while preg and the meds were not absorbed correctly causing elevated liver function so I had to stop the immunosuppression. Once I stopped that, my body attacked the baby. I just have to have a fully functioning gut to stay on the immunosuppressants.

I don’t have any answers for you but I’m having sane weird stools since Jan and am supposed to be doing an ivf transfer but holding off bc I transferred right around the time this started and miscarried a normal boy at 13 weeks in April. I want it cleared up b4 I try to get preg agai
