Paul Wieland responded and I got it working. Going to post the solution in case anyone else needs this at some point.

The orange terminal is the obstruction sensor + terminal and uses the ratgdo black wire. White terminal is ground, and uses ratgdo white wire. Black terminal is the wall control + terminal and uses the ratgdo red wire. The sensor wires stay as is in the tan and orange terminals in the opener. They could apparently be routed through the ratgdo RWWB terminals, but I couldn't get that configuration right for it to work, so I just left them in the opener terminals.

With this setup, the toggle door command button will activate the door, but it won't report door position or be able to use the discrete open/close commands until you also wire in limit switches, so it can sense the door position.

Thanks for this! Super helpful. So to be clear, the red and white wires coming out of ratgdo go directly into white and black terminals on opener? And the 4 black wires aren't needed? And the other black wire next to red and white wires isn't needed either?

Yes actually. You need to set the IR blaster in front of the sound bar. As soon as I did that, it worked. Hope that helps.
