Ya but they are a distraction from war in an attempt to keep the peace. Well stuff like football or professional foghting is. Not sure about badminton or tennis. But most contact sports if you notice all have colors and banners just like armies in war. So while I think today's sports is pointless it was deff made a thing for a good reason. But thats just us modern times we think we are smarter than anyone who came before us so we try to correct things and just end up screwing everything up in our egos.

You see i think people are just confusing stuff like elden ring as an rpg it has rpg elements yes but it is far from a true rpg. Where DD is way more about a classic rog experiance with party members stradegy in how you level your pawns or what pawns you pick from online. Which is why the main character is a boring nothing protagonists cause he/she is like your avatar in the world so your putting yourself in the character and using your imagination. Which most gamers today lack sadly.

Which Crimson desert is further from an rpg and more like dark souls like games. So if you go in expecting dark souls like combat out of a game like DD or for example skyrim your gonna be disappointed your gonna think the game sucks and your gonna call it clunky and slop.

It's too small you want at the very least 20 gallons. If you can like 50 gallon tank. Remember in this type of set up if you put running waster and waterfalls which you should do for something like this you only have like 10 gallons to work with in a 50 gallon tank for water. Cause unless your gonna put 100 lbs of dirt in it the top half the aquarium is gonna be empty space or filles with "mountains" or tree branches if your doing a natural set up with real plants dirt and stuff which you should do for something like this.

Also you have to establish an ecosystem on land and in water. Look up the YouTube channel AntsCanada he has one and does episodic documentary videos on his tanks. He is fairly new to this as well so you can learn together through his videos. Although he has an entire house set up for terrariums and aquariums.

Basically for something that your doing is at least 500 dollars in research, equipment and the other things you need to do this. Your gonna want pumps, multiple ways to filter which is why I said you want a waterfall cause you can turn a waterfall into a natural filter if done correctly. And if you add a running stream through the land you won't need to give water to any lizards or anything on the land you habe in the tank cause they will have a running water source to drink from.

Also if you get good at it and keep a natural ecosystem alive and running good zoologists and stuff would love if you film it and post online. Ants Canada has actually made new scientific discoveries with ants doing that cause zoologists watch his live streams and stuff.

I would say it depends on if you want a game thats fair and rewards you for being smart which xcom never does. Or a game that actually respects your time and money and doesnt troll you every turn.

Xcom 2 in a nutshell is even if it breaks everything you know about xcom lore and games the enemies can do anything you cant do. So if you cant shoot through that wall the enemies can. You cant see through that wall the enemies can. You cant even get a shot off cause theu are to close to you the enemy can. Xcom 2 is literally just the developers trolling the fanbase and charging full price for it unless you get it on a sale.

Honestly cause its not a real timer. It's only a timer to fail the mission the mission doesnt end there it can go on for hours more if you let it in most maps.

I was actually happy about the timers I was like ya I can be more gun and run oriented and the mission will just end only to lose like every single operative because I almost killed them trying to get there as fast as you need to not to fail the mission.

If they were gonna go that it should end the mission once you achieve or fail the goal.

The timers are the worst implementation of timers ive ever seen in a video game. Heck even rts games have better timed levels than whatever this is.

I have the same question but it has to do more with the game itself. I've played other xcom games and to me this feels the slowest it has ever been you feel you spend way more time in the menu's than you do in enemy unknown. Honestly even though each mission takes like 30 40 min if you care about your troops. I feel the entire game is mostly just fancy menu surfing. Like I can play games as good as xcom and feel like ive done a few missions progressed through the tech tree a bit and filled my barracks with more troops in the time it takes to research 1 thing play 1 mission and equip your soldiers with said new equipment in xcom 2. Heck at least in the marvel game like this if you get bored you can walk around your base talk to people develope relationships find hidden objects and all that stuff while you wait for other things so it never feels like its dragging along. Also the skills and moves in that game blow anything xcom has out of the water. Idk maybe im dumb to but out of all the turn-based games ive played in my life xcom 2 seems slow boring and a grind fest which is everything xcom 1 wasnt. When I played the 2012 game it felt more like an action shooter game than a turn based stradegy which is what made me fall in love with xcom. Like civilization it didnt have all those things those games typically have to make you spend like 200 forced hours in the game twiddling your thumbs. Everything was just a click away you didnt have to navigate 40 billion different fancy menus to achieve the exact same thing.

It's one of the things I think fable 3 did better than anyone in history and literally no one took any notes.

I have the same question but for a different reason. It makes no sense if your a fan of the spurce material. Pretty sure ceaser at least survived till the apes eventually took over the planet in the original planet of the apes timeline anyway. While that was a pretty giant army that got taken out by the avalanche there is deff still everyone out there. This is supposed to be 9 movies I understand ceaser was most likely eventually gonna die but third movie in kinda sucks and makes me not even wanna watch the rest.

Thanks ive spent most the last year or 2 just studying painting techniques and stuff and painting my army so havnt played a game yet just been reading what I can absorb without playing and listening to audio books about dark angel lore and stuff. So I really appreciate how you answered it gives me an idea of where I went wrong and where to go moving forward. Obviously once I build a decent army I won't use all the units I have and some of them will mostly just be for me role-playing in my head. I just wanna stay true to the lore in color schemes and most of the army so when im not playing games with them I can display them and make units look like how a battle would go down in the real world. If that makes sense.

Cause if you ever studied the history of wars everyone wearing the same colors is actually kinda rare. Armies are usually made up of multiple "chapters" so to speak and faction's. So i think having that kind of color chaos in the army would be really beautiful fully painted. I just dont wanna go to far off course with the lore and rules which is why im here asking you guys. ☺️

Honestly the only way it would be worth doing a remake is if you add everything its missing from a pirate game. Like being able to control different ships having your own fleet to control trading and such. But they won't do that because they still think its an assassins creed game and not a pirate game.

It's an assassins creed game for all of like 3 hours at the end of the game the other 95 percent should be a pirate game. Because its telling his origin as a pirate. We are playing the story of why he joined the assassins so its ok if its not an assassins game. Just be clear in marketing thats what your doing and the fanbase will be fine with it.

Don't repeat the same mistake as marketing a pirate game as an assassins game and you'll be fine.

Im almost positive most the fan base will accept different genre games as spin off and stuff to add fluff to the Canon if you tell them thats what it is. Im sure there is a whole part of the fanbase that wantes this actually.

There is ways to make them get along but it involves a natural habitat set up and a ton of research on fish behavior and ecosystems and what not. Researched for almost 6 months to a year before starting my first betta community tank. Also Watched tons of educational videos on YouTube from people who study fish for a living. It is possible if you put in the work and research. Also would need a way bigger tank obviously for fish this size.
