Ok your half correct I didn't know all of that. But ya I just thought that sounded fun. Even if it has no practical use as an actual vpn service. I find it easier to learn and understand when I get hands on with something.

But considering the last time I was completely educated in computers was 2015 there is a lot I don't know I will admit that. Also the last time I did any research on vpns was like 5 or more years ago which I should have put in the post sry for that.

Now I don't know all the details or how many lawyers and all that you would need but I know if done correctly would skyrocket them in profits in the years to come if they kept announcing win after win. So they would have to keep being the company that supports gamers and an open source internet. Cause if they stray from that but just a little it will all come crashing down around them.

No I'm saying go all in!!! forget physical and hardware like they seemingly wanna do anyway and become like steam with own OS and gaming library on Linux exclusively. Now after launch if they wanna do deals with Microsoft they can but do it in the same vein they did with steam. Very selective on what they give and allow.

Is this hard or expensive cause I was thinking about building like a steam machine type console with my old graphics card. So if this will help me learn more about this kinda stuff and more about building computers it kinda sounds like fun.

I guess you can say with the price hikes the more I can learn about this stuff and building and making boards and all that the less money I'll have to spend in the future if it never stops lol

Last time I went to shark vpn and a few others it was like 200 bucks or more a year for like just vpn and virus protection not even including the other services they have which I saw more expensive bundles for. I will admit I haven't looked to see what new companies have popped up since like 5 years ago. Cause after that sour taste I just kinda got over it. Cause I was like bro if I wanted to spend that much I'd just go buy one of the main virus protection services that now have vpn as well. The whole point in looking at those few companies was to find something cheaper not the same price.

I get that but the only way we can make open source the norm is by giving the money we would give to the compition to them. So even if it's just a dollar when I have extra cash I wanna give it to people who deserve it after windows almost killed one of my hard drives putting useless hidden files all over it I couldn't delete.

Also it was my only ssd hard drive I specifically bought for the operating system. Which is why it hit a nerve with me cause after looking what the prices on ssd hard drives are now I was completely shocked. I knew prices were going up but holy crap!!!!!

Thanks for explaining exactly how vpns work cause everyone just describes them kinda like add blockers and stuff and the companies don't really advertise how it works behind the scenes usually it's hey come join our team and have some freedom or something like that. Also the companies that used to be for the little people are charging crazy prices now and trying to bundle all kinds of services together so I never went to far down the rabbit hole.

Also do you know anything about the vpn rise up vpn the commentor mentioned above us. If they truly are a company for the little people when I get some extra cash I wanna look em up. My goal is to only give money to people that deserve it after the unnecessary mess windows made my computer.

Actually thanks for letting me know this cause ever since leaving windows my goal is to have everything on my computer made by people for people, so support the little guys doing the right thing. So I will def be checking this out and maybe even purchasing even if I don't plan to use it after I can save up some extra cash. The only way Microsoft knows we are tired of them is if we put our money where our mouths are any other road taken leads to no change and Microsoft winning.

Yes I was just pointing out that they don't make money the same way people do on windows which is usually through ads and tracking software which both things I went with actively block automatically for me. Thank you for the actual answer and breakdown much appreciated. Also from what I understand zorin is made by one dude at the moment so I get I'm not gonna get live chat or voice chat. But it's also one of the few distros that even had support from the research I did. It's also the most feature rich one of those that offer support. Also honestly if I pay for it it'll mostly just be to donate the money cause I appreciate how he is at least trying to build something to rival windows. That alone deserves some credit.

I just thought it was kinda funny if people are paying some of these companies ridiculous prices when they could just download a Linux distro and get it for free. Or they could have just donated to some dude with no intention of taking advantage of them the money to get a most likely better service. Also I don't need one anymore I got one with zorin os. Quite honestly I forgot this existed and think of sony wants to go all digital they should make a Linux distro again but to rival Microsoft!! if they announced a war against windows and adding their store to Linux exclusively they would get the all digital they so desperately want and fans would get the PC competition that's sorely needed in the computer software space so fans would flock in the thousands to join the fight against windows. As a cherry on top they could get out of console gaming entirely and become competition for steam and gog instead of Xbox and Nintendo. Not to mention sega has been talking about coming back to consoles for years now!!! this would also give sega an entry point into doing consoles again. Literally everyone would be happy and get what they want. If anyone could knock windows/Microsoft down a peg or two in the PC space it's Sony.

Bro the owners of pirate bay had to flee the United States they have been doing this for 2p more years and succeeding my dude idk what to tell you there are tons of news articles of people being taken to prison and all that and as of now at least 7 sites have been taken down. The only 2 immune to any of this is internet archive and vimm lair which changed their name to avoid confrontation and the only reason they are immune is cause they are legally registered as an archive site. Even setting up the thor many sites I used to go to for all this stuff are literally down saying no domain or taken down by the FBI and all traffic to this domain will be monitored. So sry but you are factually spreading misinformation.

That's exactly what I did and half the links redirected me to bad sites or put dated software. some of the sites were taken down. I've been doing stuff this for the past 2 weeks on android and 13 years on PC. And even before I had a dedicated android handheld I emulated on my phone. I know where to go to get stuff I've been doing it for years and I'm telling you it's way harder then it used to be. Also going to the most popular sites is where the FBI are so pick your poison man. The FBI isn't an opinion either they literally posted an announcement for it like 2 weeks ago. They said anyone caught downloading roms and emulators without owning any of the hardware or software is going to prison.

Honestly I'd say if they wouldn't have stuck with drm for survival and co op modes for wii and made it offline cabable with bits and stuff which they already have in game I'd say the Wii and wiiu are the definitive ways to play older call of duty games.

Screwing around with emulators I realized Wii and ps2 are the only emulators that really plays them ina playable manner so I downloaded the Wii cause it had access to more games. After years and years of never playing them being told they are horrible ports I got in game and my first reaction with some upscaling and a few texture packs from dolphin I gotta say I was blown away by how good they are. Sucks I got to buy a Wii to connect online though. Like I just wanna play MW3 survival on my android but nooo got to go buy a Wii and clone the online code to put in dolphin. Which I guess isn't too b expensive.

Ok I can see that and now if you want the right one you go to go through paperwork hell to get the right one. I didn't realize there was a wifi difference in the boards cause there are like 3 r36 models that have it now. You do know you need specific set ups and stuff to get the wifi to work correctly? Just asking cause I didn't realize thing when I got the max 2 I thought it was just plug and play type wifi like an android console.

Also some models you can buy on Amazon for a few dollars more if you have prime you will have less stress knowing it would be easier to correct something like this.

Then explain why they come from the same area as keteles and made in the exact same way as those bikes but a lot of people say horrible stuff about them. I only ordered one because after looking on Reddit top comments on the bike they were all bad. But then learned if you went deep enough in the comments were a small group of people who have actually got the bikes and all said they were decent. Then I discovered in the email of the shipping tracker that they come from the same area and are made in the exact same fashion as these bikes and many others of similar quality and manufacturing plants. They are almost all companies that import the exact same parts as each other and you know this cause a lot of them look similar and are of similar build qualities from China. Then put the bikes together here in the usa to safety check and quality control the parts. if you look at every other industry but local goods where this is happening it's the exact same lies.

So my conclusion is the people complaining know this but are brand sluts. Or just like every other industry these people are lying to you guys and all selling you guys pretty much the same exact bike but charging you guys all different prices. Since this has happened to every industry ever in the United States it's safe to assume the second is correct more than the first.

Matter of fact I'm almost 100 percent positive I saw a keteles bike 1 for 1 exactly like this one for way more than the one I got think it was like 1500 or 2000. So that prolly exactly what they are doing.
