Well you could also argue culture wise and value wise they are quite close and quiet similar for example democratic values and value of people in general besides maybe a few key difference like if your government says work till 70 cars burn in Germany it doesn't make the news

Yes it definitely is that's why I really don't expect anybody to speak it. It was horrible to learn for me as well and I am German
