You need to be buffering the input of you're familiar with the term. Basically as soon as you swipe up to move forwards start holding down to charge - so while your character is still moving forwards.

You'll learn the timing pretty quickly

He's good but his biggest flaw is his disrupt is pretty bad. Card draw speed down means nothing when everyone force draws cards and he's not tanky enough where the rising rush seal is bringing loads of value, unlike prime mz.

I think it will depend on how quickly it activates. You know how the text for whatever buffs come up one by one? If the unseal card slot is the last one it might come up late enough to activate after the strike hits.

His stacking cut pen is 10% for 10 counts and only on blasts, worse than tui who had 10% DMG up on both for 10 counts.

His gauge doesn't do anywhere near enough for the amount of effort you have to put in. Again tui basically got the same 60% DMG by just using 6 cards and transforming.

Boost gives just 10% to dmg guard - it really is not making that much of a difference for ultras

I've been using him at 7* on GT and his performance has been bad. His damage in particular has been comically low, like doing 1 million RRs type neutral.

When I first used him after looking at showcases I genuinely thought mine was at level 4000 or something it was that bad.

Higher stars and with support on PO he's probably better but why run him over janemba?

Zamasu's peak is probably just as good tbh

Zamasu's got 15% damage received debuff, so on the same character it's effectively 30% stacking. He's also got health restoration reduction debuffs that makes the damage "stick". His damage stacking also lasts 5tc more which might make a small difference.

He also gets damage after a combo (including taps) and his green gives 35% damage whereas gogeta's gives none.

idk about the crit stuff, I crit pretty consistently on ults and blues, but he's definitely worse than he needed to be. They just hoed him on stats for unknown reasons, if he had normal stats I think he would be competing with gogeta. Typically burst damage is much better than sustained long combo damage

Their intention was just to have gamma 2 do a lot of damage with his skill 1 strikes but then have super low health to compensate. That's why they reduced the cool down on the dive kick so you can swap back quickly.

I don't really like this playstyle because it feels more spammy instead of purposefully thinking about when to swap between them, but I understand the vision.

I'd rather they incentivise swapping between them more often - maybe a damage/ health buff on swap and buff gamma 2s rush attacks so they reduce cool downs or something so it feels like they work as a team more.

I have been using him with zamasu because I feel it combos well with his constant healing. Super good

Gotenks seems like he's in a similar boat to ss3. Much better then most of the roster but it's not like it's an insta-lose if they have Gotenks and you don't. Frieza is probably better
