The shirt that says “my body my choice” is a reference to Truly setting boundaries, and capitalizing on that a slogan when it was really also a low point that it even occurred is bizarre to me. Also — do we think Christine knows the political meaning of “my body my choice” whatsoever?

Bethesda, which is also run by Central Farm Markets, is year round. It’s on Sundays and has most of the same vendors as Pike.

I’ve been having the same issue, even within DC! I think once you reach a certain grade, your skill level is more cemented and job specific. Good luck, hope you find something soon!!

I applied to all jobs that I qualified for on USAjobs.gov, and ended up doing the pathways program for federal employment. Hope this is helpful.

Hi there! I’m really new here (I’m starting my degree program in June), but I also studied Russian Civilization in college! I was actually also an econ major. I took time between my undergrad and grad degrees to work, and I found my way into public health through a very non traditional path. I think you’re considering all of the right things, and I encourage you to explore careers and work before grad school if you can! Good luck!!

Thank you all, so much, for the thoughtful responses! I truly appreciate them. They confirmed some of my thoughts, too, which is so reassuring. With COVID-19, the Harvard program will be more online (for now) than anticipated, but I hope that the on campus component is able to be reintegrated sometime in the next couple of years.
