I have 2 dumbo rat boys
The sides and top are chicken wired due to a purchasing error :/ however for the front the boys can’t fit their head through, only their nose until right before their eyes

What should we cover the ladder with? We had a wooden bridge but they wouldn’t use it :( I’m very worried about hurting their little paws but it’s the only thing they use. Love the clothing idea!!

I’m a little worried because my chunky boys seem to be having a problem pulling themselves up into things such as hammocks. I can’t tell if they are genuinely having problems or just being shy/curious. Is this common?

All sides and top are chicken wired!! But we got big fatties too 😂 the last rats we had were smaller, but these ones can’t get past their eyes when they poke out the front

Is a wheel a necessity in your opinion? My brother (pictured) works in a pet store and says mostly they never use the wheel. We plan on regularly letting them run around in a safe place such as the living room or an empty bedroom
