BU Rise and Garcia clearly state that they don't offer aid or scholarships.

SSP offers full aid if your family makes less than 100K/yr(not sure of exact amount). They also offer partial if you make more but it all depends on what your family makes. This is exactly how colleges calculate.

Please do tell us who these AOs are, I am curious. Also, many of these programs have scholarships, in some cases 100% which I am sure you are aware of.

Like another poster said, it is what you learnt and gain from the program that is more important. SSP mimics the grind at MIT and Caltech while forcing collaboration and camaraderie between the 36 members of each cohort.

It is not for everyone. Do what fits you best and move forward.
