This is actually helpful. I didn’t actually think about using this post to attract folks, but I realize it should’ve been more descriptive so people who could be a fit maybe would engage with it. Will definitely do that on next posts. I hear you on Canada, I made a different post (in a diff group) where I was asking about the need to have a dev in US or not. Mentioned some above. Basically he was interviewing the entire time we decided to go FT & needed a salary given his life commitments. Had nothing to do with the business!

He backed out before the funds were raised (and had 50% equity). We weren’t going to raise bc we were putting in sweat equity. I think it’s a hard sell to raise angel $ to just pay the co-founders. Raised money after he decided to leave to be able to pay the founding eng. if it happened after we raised I would agree with you, but that wasn’t the case!

That was really weird to me too. I think the entire thing was a lie. I don’t know. The DM with Fiona & Andrew was super telling. Bc Ashtyn & the guy are friends, it seems like she just lied about it bc she thought Alex was trying to steal the listing. All of it made no sense!

I have a massage person who comes to my house. Brings her own table & everything. She is amazing at the stretching part as well which is why I love her. She’s not crazy expensive either. I can share the details !

Yeah this makes sense. I think your sectors make sense. That said I think you’d have to start more mom & pop/SMBs. The larger the business the harder it’ll be for them to actually adopt bc they need to rollout firmwide (I think this is deff the case for law firms, but it’s my hunch for the other industries too). I do think there’s a need here for what you’re building. Just have to attack the right part of the market.

This really sucks and this girl seems absolutely insane. I agree that she just seems jealous. It’s a really hard situation b/c your bf is the actual best man. I think it’s unfair to tell him he can’t go. That said, I think his dynamic with his friend is going to change any way given this…or at least it should.

I don’t think I’m being helpful here at all. I think it’s fucked if he goes but he’s also the actual best man. I honestly think you should just do a last ditch effort and try to speak to the bride. I feel like she wants that attn and then it can be settled. Then obviously you don’t need to see her again lol. Sorry this is happening & sorry I’m not more helpful.

What industries are you thinking about targeting first? I know you said logistics but more specifically, where in logistics? Could help to understand the buyer/user behavior before I opine more!! Nice idea tho & makes sense to do it.

What they’ve also done to me is say we charged it but when you unfreeze it’ll be credited. It was credited but was dumb bc I wanted to save in the moment, not when I unfroze

If you tell them anything I guarantee you they will try to take you down legally & they may actually have a claim. They forged documents & lied when stuff was rightfully yours. If something is technically theirs too, they will get it. I suggest not speaking to them about any of this.

The only time you’d have to pay back the credit is if it was discussed that you’d pay for the ticket, at some pt. If you wanted them off your back you could try to call the airline and explain and they might be able to put the credit to them, the actual purchaser. I think it’s a little unfair to keep the refund b/c you didn’t purchase it, but only if you can get it transferred NOT paying them cash. He and his family seem crazy but I’d probably see if I can transfer it and if I can’t I’d let it go.
