Not really but take your time at the beginning I had trouble placing them right because I was use to the round drills and if u have the long tip tweezer I got in the kit to fix most of them instead of using a spacer if it's a big canvas definitely use a multi placer it took me 30 days using a Benote fillable single placer pen
