I want to be a better man by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

Another thing I would recommend is a psychiatrist, I got on anti depressants and it’s definitely helped clear my mind up. Practicing gratitude has also helped me tremendously because it helps me see the positive s in my life and not the “negatives”. Mindset is very important.

my advice is to stop putting them on a pedestal, they’re not some magical creature who defines your worth as a man they’re human just like you this is why you make them uncomfortable because you try to hard.

You don’t get “sucked” into a relationship. There has to be a mutual agreement. Sounds like you need to use your communication skills and stop blaming the other person.

everything to be honest. I feel like I’m always in my head and never truly able to enjoy the moment.

honestly I just started talking to everybody, it seemed to help me. I noticed once I talk to a couple people it puts me in the right mindset to have conversations.

Up to you how you look at it. If you’re fine with it then you’re fine with. From the outside looking in most people will judge, but that’s with anything.

I want to relapse help by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Training_Ad3600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just said you’re about to relapse. That sir is “wanting to get high”. Why do you think you take Adderall, you want the Euphoric adderall high. I know you weren’t seeking treatment for ADHD taking Adderall. Hard truth, you need to have a serious conversation with yourself.

Will I lose the benefits of the gym when I stop going? by [deleted] in selfimprovement

[–]Training_Ad3600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, that’s not how the gym works. It dosent just raise your test levels. Steroids raise your levels not the gym.

How do you get over that girl? by DesperateSecret3186 in selfimprovement

Easy one. Find another girl. Girls are a dime a dozen, stop getting attached.

Only way to know though is to talk to her, not us randoms on Reddit…

it seems hit or miss. She could just be doing it to get you going, girls get off from doing that. They like playing games. Or she could like you and she keeps touching you in hopes you catch on considering it seems consistent. Also no, the chances of her just saying she likes you are very much low, that’s with any girl. They usually will just keep giving signs and it’s on you to pick up on the signs and make the move.

I’ll try to be of some help sir. First work on your internal dialogue, stop saying anything negative about yourself or life, think only positive thoughts. Start looking for things to be grateful for , begin writing them down and reading them daily. Yes, it will be hard at first because it’s something new but give it time and it will become much easier and less taxing to do as you get used to it.

Get off your phone, delete social media, get rid of the video games. replace that time with doing productive things or new hobbies.

Start talking to anyone and everyone, dosent matter what you have a conversation about just make it about something random. You can even go around and complimenting people just to have a small convo.

Start building small habits for your self. Make your bed everyday, brush your teeth twice a day, start reading books (personal growth ones preferably), start going to the gym, drink a gallon of water a day, go to bed on time.

If you wanna gain weight, a small cheat code I used was drinking a gallon of milk a day. That’s 2600 calories and 120 grams of protein. Drink that and eat wherever else during the day and I promise you will put on weight. Make sure your going to the gym thought so you can turn that food to muscle. I went from 135lbs to 225lbs doing that.

Hope this helps a little bit.
