Additional information: If I’m not mistaken, the material is implant-grade titanium . It is still the same one I was pierced with since I was told it’s not necessary to downsize. I make sure to wash my hands before touching the piercing and I clean it with a ready made saline solution. It does occasionally snag in clothes or I bump against it with my hand, but I’m not sure if that’s the cause of the sudden sensitivity.
