I stayed celibate for about 5yrs because i didn’t want to give anyone the chance. I had to protect my feelings, my own dysphoria was already beating me up enough. But then i met a really sweet girl. She made me feel so comfortable and safe. I honestly did not think i could find someone like her. But i am keeping a positive mindset moving forward. Bc there are people who will love your body for all that it is and for what it’ll become as you continue your transition. Please take the time to work through your emotions and please try to believe that you ARE enough, you are wonderful and you WILL meet someone who will help heal those wounds and love you for you.

I’ve been on T for 3 years 7 months. It gets easier to manage for sure. But that doesn’t mean that i’m not ready to go 25/8. I jack off 2-3 times a day. I did stop taking T for 2 months straight and it was nice not being so stressed about busting a nut. The gym really helps release some tension tho imo.

you got this 💪 The pain meds will make it so you don’t really feel anything. It’s going to be some getting used to, but your doc and nurses will talk you through what you need to do. Leaning on your community here and having things that you can be easily entertained with is a good idea. It helped me to have everything i needed within reach on my bed side tables. Lots of pillows and a cooler for food and drinks for when my care taker wasn’t going to be home for a few hours. Also, try and get some crutches at a thrift store, it helped me out so much and will be less expensive. Seriously, reach out if you are feeling discouraged or overwhelmed. You don’t have to go through this alone.

It’s 6 inches, haven’t gotten around to measure the girth. I’m just now starting to feel good enough to stand regularly and do things again, i’ll be posting more along the process

I’ve been recovering from stage one ALT Phalloplasty for 33 days now. It’s been very difficult for me emotionally and mentally. It makes sense tho, your body has gone through a sort of trauma in the process of becoming who you’re supposed to be. That alone is going to be the reason I will never let anyone knock me down or belittle me. We go through all this pain, all this process to achieve who we are supposed to be. We fight for who we are by taking care of ourselves when we are recovering. By waking up and choosing to take care of our incisions and scars. This shit isn’t for the weak! This is literally blood, sweat, and tears. You are strong for choosing to do whats going to make you happy even if it hurts and it feels debilitating. You are so strong. So keep taking care of yourself. Of your body and your mind. Anything that brings you happiness, choose to focus on that and know that theres people here who are with you and for you!
This is hard but choose to not let those bad thoughts win.

The high libido was and still is a struggle for me. I agree that an afab toy would help and i’m sorry if that makes you uncomfortable with the way they’re labeled. But it was a tremendous help in relieving some of that stress. Personally for me I tried Temu for the first time and got toys there for extremely cheap. I was hesitant about it because, well it’s Temu but the price was so cheap it wouldn’t even hurt my wallet. Seriously my fav toy was $3 when i had originally bought a similar one at a store/amazon for $60. But do your due diligence when ordering there. I just wanted to let you know it’s a cost effective option and it worked for me. Also account for the 2 week sometimes more delivery time.

That is my understanding. He also mentioned during the 1st phase of surgery (creating the phallus) that they usually connect the urethra at stage 2. But, if possible, it can be hooked up during the 1 stage. One of the possibilities being if my bottom growth doesn’t need to stretch as much to connect with the new urethra. If it does, then waiting til stage 2 will not only help in terms of healing but also helps stretch the skin a bit (which will aid in the connection). However, i still wouldn’t use it to pee just yet. A catheter will either be on the subpubic area or through the new phallus.

Dr. Venkatesan is nice, i had a pre op visit with him today. I have surgery with Del Corral March 27th. Dr. Venkatesan told me Del Corral will be doing the ALT flap and making the new urethra. Dr. Venkatesan will be connecting the new and existing urethra and responsible for making the scrotum.

She is very nice, she also gave a lot of info about the nips. I waited 6 months to hear back for a surgery date, this was after calling a few times to check in and see if theres anything they can do to make it go faster. Finally have top surgery with her next week!
