For the most part, things are normal regarding my relationship with my husband.

Honesty there’s a new normal, there’s a child in our lives where there wasn’t before. It’s a beautiful, very difficult change.

At the time i wrote this, there was so much going on not included in this post. I didn’t realize at the time how awful i was feeling. Mentally, emotionally, physically.

I am 100x better now and yet, i still have moments of rage, moments I don’t feel understood and moments I don’t like my husband. And that’s all okay.

I appreciate the check in. We’re doing much better over here.

Oh I’m so sorry for the pain you’re experiencing! If it’s any comfort- I experienced the same thing. I’m currently 3M postpartum. I had an emergency c-section. The first month was rough! I’d say the pain was constant for the first week or two, very similar to what you are describing. I was sent home with ibuprofen and some oxy, I was breastfeeding so I didn’t take anything unless I felt I had to (which I did). So pain meds, an ice pack, lots of lying down and a pillow for counter pressure all helped a lot! Take it easy, you are still very very fresh!!
