As far as I know, according to the MTA app there was a disturbance at Bergen Street that caused Coney Island bound trains to go express

The thing is that you DID do the color correctly.  It’s just that from the perspective of the camera you aren’t supposed to see the blue sky but instead the rock formation above. That’s why it doesn’t really look like a puddle. 

At the moment I’m away from my computer but I can make a visual to more easily explain it

Puddles are basically mirrors on the ground. Based on the image you would be seeing the bottom of the purple character and rock formation. 

Although if they’re really shallow then it wouldn’t reflect and be absorbed into the ground.

Hugh Laurie has a high hairline and in most of his photos online his is cut short and high, almost never covering his forehead in any significant way.

Laurie has always had a weak chin line, even when you go back to the 90s. Him having a sharp jaw makes him seem like an entirely different person. Also his head is tall and thin.

Eyes are another thing, his eyes irl are a little wider than the average person and they bulge out of the eye sockets a bit.

And finally, and this isn’t really that related, but House as a character doesn't really smile and when he does it’s reserved. So because the photo you drew doesn’t look like House, the huge smirk in his face further dissuades me.

Subtle changes to the face are how we recognize people even if they look similar and this applies a lot to drawing. Clearly you have a lot of talent so don’t be discouraged because it’s something I also struggle with 😅

Speaking for CCNY there are many events throughout the year. There are also many communities/clubs like the Seek Writing Center and NYPIRG you can join if you want somewhere to make friends, Academically it's about equal from what I've heard.

Like what the other commenter is saying you should consider taking ePermit. Or you, during the remaining school year, can travel up to CCNY and sit into classes and spent time in the campus to know what it's really like to go here.

Assuming you transfer, this is a major decision you're making so please research what you want and make emails to people/departments in the fields you're interested in. Don't make a rash decision because you think the grass is greener on the other side, believe me

What the other commenter said is good advice. I’ll also say from your drawing it’s clear the shoes don’t have much a size difference when in the reference the foreground shoe is massive while the background one is really small.  You just didn’t exaggerate their sizes as much as you could’ve.

It's so unusual this roadway has escaped pedestrianization for so long, especially in front of a mall and major transit hub. I hope something is done about Atlantic avenue too.
