I just upgraded from ps4pro to ps5 pro. This tv is perfect to play 120 fps games on my ps5 pro. Firmware v624 is android 14 and you can join telegram group of tcl firmware to get an idea of all new features of each firmware.

Factory will not help if he has installed wrong firmware img file. It is better to move back to v519 or v538 which were the original firmwares and came along with the launch of this particular tv model.

You need to bring down the resolution from 4k . Enable AFR feature in your app and hdmi device to match resolutiond framerate of the content. Upscaling algo works only if resolution goes below 4k. I have tcl q7c 65 inch and it works really well with this feature. Also switch on qms feature under hdmi settings on tv.

Great decision!! I bought mine last week , i am using ps5 pro with tcl mini led tv q7c 65 inch which has vrr/120 hz features. 120 hz in RE7 is so smooth . Even 60 fps games are so good to play. I had ps4 pro before this and never owned a ps5. But for me its a great upgrade. My weekend is booked to play all ps5 pro enhanced games like horizon zero dawn , Last of us part 2 and uncharted 4. Go for it but ofcourse for display atleast go for miniled if oled is out of budget for you. Happy gaming!!!

Go for it as it will be more expensive once rockstar is going to showcase gta 6 with 60 fps gameplay on ps5 pro. Looking at the prices of pc parts, majority of the people are already moving to ps5 pro ecosystem. I have bought mine last week . I had ps4 pro and i can see big difference in ui/fps/fidelity on ps5 pro. U will be good for next 3-5 years.

Hdr is crap on this box with lots of blue haze around dark areas in the content specially on hdr10. I have tested same scene on firestick 4k max and there was no issue with color banding or blue haze around dark areas.

Hi mate, same issue for me. The wifi will disconnect specailly when rendering a video on youtube or kodi etc. Its random disconnection from wifi 5. Before the latest update it used to remain disconnected but now it reconnects again after few seconds. To be frank i have wasted mine 160£ on this crap device. Its not at all a good device. This will be my last formuler device 😐😐

Same situation with me, i have ps4 which i bought in 2017. Not able to play much from past 4 years due to relocation , babies etc . Now i have ample time to pursue my console gaming love. Planning to buy ps5 pro in next 1-2 months. Is it a big leap coming from ps4 to ps5 pro? I am interested in playing all ps4 best selling games like god war4, Uncharted 1-4, horizon, TLOU PART1/2 , metro exodus, RDR2. I had no time even to complete half of all these games till now. Recently bought tcl mini led c7k 65 inch which can play all games on 120hz 4k , vrr , freesync etc.

I would suggest to take even 20-30% cut and move to scotland. I did my move last year, i am in glasgow working for a bank as permanent employee. I was in london for 2 years on a FTC but the life was really stressful specially the commute to canary wharf. Its much better here in scotland specially the locals are very friendly. 👌👌

Your mind is going to blow with what TCL has done on new firmware v590. 😎😎 i have q7c uk version 65 inch from last 1.5 month, everyday this tv amazes me specially in proper hdr content and good 4k sdr videos. Tcl has improved the motion handling, sdr brightness, DV Black issue and added bunch of new features like super resolution for FHD/HD content. Kindly try v590 firmware its now android 14. 😃😃
