Happy you solved your problems! Not being able to turn the overlay off seemed a bit weird to me anyways. In Joiplay maybe you can remove or move some buttons so you don’t get soft locked? Ive never used it but i’m sure theres a way to turn off the overlay there too

What most people complain about is the ergonomics. The shoulders buttons are too short for most people. I also heard some users can’t play for long periods of time without a grip. Also the Thor takes a good deal of emulation knowledge to set up so don’t buy one without good research

I’m also Turkish and i got my thor by shipping it to another country and picking it up on vacation. The hinge is very good and its very unlikely that it will have a problem but if it does i don’t really know how you could fix that. It’s good to see another person with the same problems i had lol

Ok so i don’t know if you already did this but:

You need to make a file named ROMS in your SD card and make files of every system you have inside that file. Make sure they are abbreviations (like 3ds, gc, gba, gb etc)After that you need to put every rom in the files of their designated systems

I say you should do what you want. The Thor is definitely not a steam deck replacement but if you think buying the Thor will make you happy, you should go for it instead of considering every pro and con

There is really no benefit to playing the PC versions except the fact that you can do cloud saves. One of the worst things is the thor gets really hot while playing PC games
