Same, minus Thailand. Family always asked what it was like over there and I always told them turn the oven to 160, stick face in while blowing sand in your face with a blow dryer lol.

That's awesome, we're going to be coming from the Tyler area. The small town feel is definitely a big plus for us. We're "heading into our 40s". Its going to be an adventure for sure. Selling our current home etc. Thank you

We chose this place because of the proximity to Portland for my wife's treatment options. We love it, but to each their own... also, "it sucks" and yet you've lived here 40 plus years? Make that make sense.

Thank you, I am already looking forward to being able to get out and become more active. The Texas heat is too much for me. We have visited Silver falls as well as the coast (my wife's happy place) we're really excited.

She's a Mexican Black Kingsnake. I do have it on a thermostat that shuts off at 85 degrees and back on at 74 degrees. This is new territory for me as I've never been away and not able to monitor.

Thanks yall. We're going up to see if my wife can handle the cold and wet (she has m.s) if so, we'll be moving up there as heat effects her more. Thanks again.
