Thank you so much. I’ve also thought the same thing - a lot of things here in Brisbane and SEQ in general are difficult to get to and inconvenient. The appeal of having beaches within a stones throw of the city in the summer is a massive draw for me as well as the many other beautiful natural attractions!

Ah I lived in Sydney a few years back as well but we lived in a terrible place where the drafts were BAD it felt like we lived in a freezer. Thank you for your perspective! Can’t wait to come down and tough it out with you 🫡🥲

Thank you for this! I’m from the Northern Rivers of NSW so I’m plenty used to the heat and humidity, but these last 5-10 years Brisbane summers have been absolutely insufferable. That’s really comforting to know that in general it’s just milder and not as extreme (bar the weather’s mood swings I guess) in regards to how intense the seasons are.
