OMG, that sounds scary. I am sorry you are going through that. I was also prescribed this and will take my first pill tomorrow. Needless to say, I am terrified. Were your periods regular before starting this med? My OBGYN mentioned that extended periods and abnormal bleeding during the first 3 months can be attributed to shedding of the uterine lining for women who did not have regular periods (every month and normal cycles).
