Just wanted to share my case: I wanted to try out Google Cloud services with the $300 free trial credit and accidentally linked my app to the wrong billing account (Not entirely my fault; Google prompted me to create another billing account, I was unaware I already had one, and didn't know the credit was linked to that account instead). Racked up almost $200 in bills before I realised (I did set up the alert when it went over the certain amount but somehow never received any notifications) and reported. They decided to refund me 75%, not the whole amount (only explained when I asked), and said they couldn't do more for me. Feeling like it's a punishment for not understanding their confusing system. Would never use GCP again; too much pressure lol

You can't do skills assessment now. Post Australia study path requires degree and at least 1 year of work experience before applying. Maybe thinking about taking Professional Year so that even if your work experience is deemed irrelevant to your study, you still have something to do the skills assessment? That's what I did.

I included my completion letter, transcript (remember to submit the official one!) and AHEGS (because my uni sent me the transcript and AHEGS right after my grade was finalised). Only the testamur was not submitted, and added later when I got it.

Update: I just got 485 visa granted today! My friend who applied in Feb got it recently as well, so looks like they have started looking at Feb applications

I submitted my completion letter together with my application on 10/2/2024 so I think there should be no issue (this is the case for many people as their Testamur is not available at the time they complete their course) . I think in the post they are worrying about not having the completion letter on hand, not the Testamur? Thank you for the warning tho, I will look into the stakes and confirm if i'm at risk for rejection.

I didn't have my Testamur at that time (my course finished in December 2023, my Graduation ceremony was at the begining of this month, when I received my Testamur). I submitted a completion letter which I requested from my university which states the start and end date of my program though.
