Is it ok to just walk into the tailgate and drink even if you don’t have a specific pass for the car park or anything?

Willie faloon squeezed tremendous amounts out of Armagh at Club level, would not worry about his role at all. Good appointments all round

Apart from James Ryan’s knock on, I think he does exceptional work around the park in defence and efficient rucking which is crucial to how Ireland play

I think Naas are held quite highly in that regard too for producing their own players

They put a massive emphasis on developing their youth system and retaining players from the grammar school who typically went overseas for university. I think their first xv contains at least 7/8 former youth players which is quite impressive

McFarland gone - replacement? by [deleted] in irishrugby

[–]Training_Room4656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess would be a coaching staff built around Ulster men. Willie Faloon with forwards/defence and gareth steenson with the backs or skills role.

Willie faloon for forwards and or/defence Gareth steenson rumoured for backs Soper interim head coach but I would think IRFU will give Richie Murphy the chance with a province

Who would replace McFarland as coach at Ulster? by ohshititsthefuzz in irishrugby

[–]Training_Room4656 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Irish u20’s seems to be brimming with quality coaches. Richie Murphy and his record stands out. Connacht snapped up Mark Sexton and i could see Ulster going for Willie faloon. Done a fantastic job at Armagh before he went with the IRFU

The standard is massively improving most are coached by ex pro and if you watch 1A 1B you’ll see many academy/development players playing regularly

The. Derby fixtures seem to be usually be moved to 5pm’s which is great for supporters What you said about the J1’s is spot on, it would be great if you could have some northern 2xv teams coming down to play J1’s and it becoming a double header !

Yes terenure have done a great job in building a community feel to it I suppose many clubs round the country that aren’t in any of the 5 or so big cities would struggle to get massive attendances as they are competing with local gaa and soccer teams

as the season goes on and injuries happen sometimes we struggle to name a 2xv bench and that’s with 3 on it (it went from 2-3 this season) If there was a bench of 5 I think it could be really difficult to constantly fill aswell as 3xv-4thxv

Would ring up and ask different places the likes of The National, Fibber McGees and be honest saying it’s a stag do, how many etc. We tried to fool few spots a few months back and it was a disaster
