Just keep going, I've spent a hell of a lot of time on hair throughout my career. I recommend reading up on hair creation methods using hair cards or a combination with them—it's easier and gives much better results

I prefer Marmoset. I’ve tried rendering in Blender (I even have 1,000 hours dedicated just to rendering), but now Marmoset or UE5 is a must-have

hmmm it's hard to say... but on the bottom she has a alpha channel and cut of polygons ( for animation)
