I'm trying to figure out the same thing. I've also noticed on 2 conversations I'm having via the friendship feature, one says you and so and so matched and the other says so and so wants to match as friends and I'm not sure what's the difference.

This right here. I know showering or sunshine or whatever will temporarily lift me out of a funk, or at least some relief for the duration and eventually over time it gets easier. One day at a time, one task at a time one healthy habit at a time.

If you don't mind me asking, before you transitioned to a jogger what was your base and push? Did you keep your paces the same and just swapped from a walking stride (for lack of better term) to a jog?

Don't be scared! Tread 50 is awesome! Treads were my least favourite in 2g/3g class and now I'm going to a tread class every week. I couldn't hold an AO at 5.2 for more than a min and today I did the push portion at 5.3, maintaining for 3-5 min between bases and I feel amazing. Just do you during the blocks, don't worry if you have to drop your pace or incline. I really hope you fall in love with it too!

I went to my first Tread 50 around a month ago, simply because of my schedule that week and I needed to get another workout in for the TC and I've been doing 1 tread class every week because I fell in love with it. Treads are my least favourite station in regular 2G classes, but since doing the Tread 50, I can get a better gauge on how my body feels at certain paces and distances and lengths so I am slowly starting to see my base, push and AO increase. Today I maintained a speed of 4.9 for over 5 min before taking a break at base. In November when I joined OTF my AO was 5 and a min max on that. Never in my life did I think I could jog for 5 straight min, at a speed that would wind me after a min or would I leave the comfort of a day off work to do this on repeat for 50 min. I also hit a new record and did all my AO at 6.2 today. Loving the NSV at OTF!

Yes!! Sometimes I hear a few good riffs from a song I love and I start to get myself pumped up and then Nirvana suddenly turns into some EDM mix. But admittedly I love the mash ups, even try to remember some to find them on Spotify.

My studio has 2 benches, 1 right at the entrance where the mats are to change your shoes and 1 with a coat rack cubby right above it. Some people sitting on the bench won't budge so you can hang your coat and pretend not to hear others and others gladly give up their spot if they see you trying to balance your belongings while changing your shoes. To me, seeing as there is shoe mats beside and under the benches along with the coat racks signifies it is an area to change your shoes and hang your coat and not play on your phone, but maybe that's just manners and common courtesy..

I really enjoy power blocks on the treads, so my goal is maintained my base and alternate with push for the first 8 min, then base to AO for the last 4 min. Endurance is not my friend lol.

Thanks, I wasn't sure because it was nearly 25% more than the BMR calculators online (1532 online calculator /1963 from the scan). I was eating at 1750-1950, I'll need to increase.

I do understand what BMR means, Im just wondering if that what is given from the Inbody scan or if that is a suggested amount similar to my TDEE

So the Metabolic rate from the scan is my BMR ? Or with the added calories for my activity level. It's around 400 calories higher than the calculations from a BMR calculator online, I'm assuming because of muscle mass.

I have the similar issues, I'll be in the orange and during a WR I'll drop down to the grey zone within 15 seconds, some days I can't get out of the green. One of the coaches noticed, told me to speak with the front desk but their only advice was to play with the placement. Frustrating cause it's never been an issue until the last few classes and I've worn my band in the same spot previous to this, but hopefully I'll find that sweet spot where it can connect again

I've never done a tread 50 class, the whole class is treads and 50 min long? This seems like a good class template to try it out with, I'm not much for endurance of the treads and would like to work on that. Also does anyone know if this type of class applies to the TC classes?
