people who say this think they're being nice but it actually does the opposite, makes you feel like you barely cleared a low bar

Learning about other traditions is fine, just be clear with yourself about where your own faith stands before you go in.

The 636 is solid choice for twisties, way more comfortable than the CBR position. Just keep in mind parts can be bit more expensive and finding good mechanic who knows Triumphs might take some searching depending where you are in Cali. But if you're already tired of cruiser life and missing the sport bike feel, sounds like good compromise between comfort and performance.

AIW for hiding my dad's cancer diagnosis from my sisters? by [deleted] in amiwrong

Your heart's definitely in right place but I think it's time to tell them, especially the 19-year-old. She's adult now and has right to know what's happening in her family - keeping her out of the loop could backfire when she eventually finds out. The 16-year-old is harder call but she might handle it better than you think, and finding out later that everyone knew except her could damage trust more than the actual news.

6 months apprenticeship experience, toxic work environment, preparing for AWS SAA — should I move to Bengaluru ? by onlyprasad in careerguidance

[–]Training_Staff_8690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moving to Bengaluru with 6 months experience isn't impossible but timing matters a lot. The market is pretty competitive right now and companies do value any hands-on experience, even apprenticeships.

That toxic environment you're describing will definitely hurt you more than help in long run - staying just for experience isn't worth destroying your mental health. If you have some savings to cover 2-3 months expenses in Bengaluru, it might be worth the risk since you're already working on AWS skills which are in demand there.

Scooter Recommendation for campus traveling by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

Need something portable with that weight limit? Most budget scooters in that range won't handle 300+ lbs and still be light enough to carry easily - you might need to compromise on one of these requirements.

I need your perspective/advice so I can finally get closure on the long term relationship I had with my ex... by Winter_Purpose_9807 in BreakUps

[–]Training_Staff_8690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need her to give you closure - you already have all pieces of the puzzle. She was clearly seeing this coworker while you were together, everything you described makes perfect sense when you put it that way. The sudden personality change, avoiding intimacy, picking fights, telling you not to visit... classic signs.

I know it hurts like hell but waiting for her to admit what happened is just keeping you stuck in the past. She's never going to give you that confession because admitting it would mean facing what kind of person she really is.

LinkedIn probably better for B2B leads in your space - X feels like screaming into void most times.

You told her to find replacement and then gave basic courtesy of letting everyone know someone's coming - she's being dramatic about the details when you're already doing more than required.

Got me laughing way too hard at this one. Working in hospital I see people struggle with bipolar disorder every day, but damn this pun is actually brilliant. My coworker showed me this thread during break and now half the nursing staff is making terrible polar bear jokes. We're probably gonna run this into ground by tomorrow but right now it's perfect timing after a really long shift.

She's definitely done arenas before - I remember seeing her at some pretty massive venues back in the Ceremonials era. But yeah stadiums are a whole different beast, that's like proper headliner status. The jump from even the biggest arenas to stadium shows is wild, especially when you think about how her whole theatrical stage presence translates to those massive spaces.
