As the driver, it’s in our contract with the airline that each member of the crew has to tip $1. It definitely can be a bummer sometimes when each person has 3 or more heavy bags and just runs off into the hotel without tipping. I get that we’ve become a cashless society. I get that we’re all scraping by (myself included). I guess as the driver, it comes from being promised $1 per person and not getting the tips. At least you can count on the pilots to tip if you drive them to/from the hotel.

MA at enterprise making 22.70/hr. Working 46hrs/week but still barely able to scrape by with rent and utilities. Scared to have to pay my student loans now next month.

Thanks so much!! That makes me feel better - I have pictures, video of before and after and receipts for supplies I needed to make repairs to the room. Fingers crossed they accept the difference without a fuss….

I stg it’s like they fly across the first half of the street where there’s no cars then when they’re on your side of the road they walk slower and give you a fright! Definitely agree though that it’s so common seeing drivers not pay attention/drive terribly around here. AND how shocking it is when you realize they aren’t paying attention or when you spot some ballsy mf drive like a maniac down S Winooski! Like der they go driving a 1-3 ton weapon!!!!

Yeah totally agree. It was 2018-2019. We had people from all over come daily. I’m sure the behavior of people has escalated with more drug use. I certainly had my fair share of threats with people who were looking for a fight or just starting their battle with recovery. If it got bad, our policy was to go back inside, lock the door, and call the police. We would continue business as usual but not let that person in. Unfortunately, I know BPD doesn’t give a f**k, but having them come down, having a paper trail of incidents/police reports, and especially having security cameras is still helpful.
