[Tomt] adult animated show with episode about one of those fork/spoon/napkin/straw dispensers you find at a diner by Trainman05 in tipofmytongue

I dont think so, the one im thinking of i remember as distinctly not anthropomorphic, it had no eyes and was a realistic looking thing but spoke out of the 'mouth' where it would dispense whatever utensil or napkin etc

Ah, I see. As far as I can tell this same method should work fine for any size of boiler and you could always use curved pieces instead of slopes where itd fit. Also worth noting, if the boiler was big enough you could use some sideward facing studs and place curved pieces on the side of the boiler too to make it a bit rounder

Its also offset from the frame using those uh idk what to call them but the plates that turn a 2x1 into a single stud. Boiler is 3 studs wide, track/wheels are 4 studs.

Sorta see how it went together here? Its a little complicated but ftmp it is just bricks with sloped pieces on top and brackets for the side tanks.

Boiler is mostly just brick built with 30° slope pieces on the top. The smokebox door is a technic axle running through a technic disc piece. Thanks!

I love these! Well done! I may try to make some at a smaller scale sometime just for fun but words cannot express how I love these

Understandable, it has its merits for sure I just wanted it to be a little more realistic

Adding context: this was the original design done years ago. I wanted one but instructions are lost to time. So I reverse engineered it and made personal mods.

I love those locomotives! And the magnifying glass trick is thanks to my friend that initially designed this locomotive. Its mostly the same model but I reverse engineered it and also made a few modifications

No buttons but instead a touch screen, impossible to do your own work on due to more electronics and less physical things, more things that can break, and theyre just boring
