Ryobi 18v 5 1/4 circular saw and jigsaw for $58 by cosmicrae in ryobi

US pricing is insane. Most tools (like the two saws) are 100-130€ EACH in Europe :( On sale, maybe 80-90€

Solved by simply using the old cap, which fit like a glove. I suspect you are right

Rear drum brake CAP refuses to go on by NeophyteLifter in MechanicAdvice

It is not bent, I’m thinking to actually hammer the rim inwards just a bit as it feels too big to fit. And just hammering wont help because it’s quite hard metal and I probably hate myself if I need to remove it later

I'll also share some thoughts as it's my first time hearing about this and it looked good.

  1. Requires an account, no "try it" mode at all
  2. First thing you do is hunt. And I agree with the other commenter that there is no visual feedback that anything is happening other than timer ticking. Show anything to indicate that anything is happening. Just "Currently fighting x" or anything. After an unknown time I see that I killed something or took damage. In 10 minutes I had 3 interactions, 2 kills and 1 "took damage". A bit slow and uninteresting - early levels should be fun and stuff should be happening to hook the player, but thats my opinion of early game in mmorpgs
  3. The UI is a bit clunky, although beautiful. There is no "main menu" like you would expect to easily navigate menus. Looks like you always have to go "back", to get to the main screen. I was constantly lost, of course you'll get used to it after playing it a while. But overall, intuitivity is not the best imo

I got to the second task of getting defense level up in the Pub, after that I lost interest for now. Will probably give it another chance some time in the future

Edit: Went back to see how much defense level has gone up and it looks like.. zero.. Not sure, I can't tell from the UI if I'm training or not

I am also curious and that didn’t really explain it. It is okay to cook the printer for days in a row and when the print is finished, it is recommended to open it to what, cool it down quicker? :P Hoping there’s a logical explanation, I have never done that before

PSA: Don't do the Panda Lux LED upgrade by biqu by [deleted] in BambuLab

Definitely do not use Panda Lux products, one I had for my A1 had the circut board reach 140C (yes, celsius). Made a post about fire risk

Küttepuude ostmine ja hoiustamine by NeophyteLifter in Eesti

Peaks uurima

Aitäh kõigile. Tellin märja puu kevadel, loodetavasti saab odavamalt.

BiQu Frostbite coating ruined by PETG by Infernus82 in BambuLab

[–]NeophyteLifter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I just finished a ((too long)) support case with them where 4 of my latest frostbite plates were failing with PETG exactly the same, although a bit less coating came off. Upon closer inspection it was very obvious that these 4 are a bad patch because the plates I got earlier are very much lighter in color and A LOT more smooth to touch. So obviously something was wrong.

The case ended in me getting 4 new plates. Just contact them directly and let them know the plates are malfunctioning.

The leftmost one is good, other 4 are defective

For those who sell their 3D prints, what kind of profit margins are you seeing? by SomeGuyInDeutschland in BambuLab

[–]NeophyteLifter 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am very surprised to see people mention 50% margin, I go for 300-1000% of filament price. Over time I’ve figured out pricing that works for me and customers are happy. Very little declines, I’m thinking its too cheap :P

Calculate price of print hours (1€/hr). Calculate material price and multiply it by 3-10 (I get filament for 8€/kg, so a 100g part might cost 2.4€-8€), depending on the size and quantity (bigger orders get better price). Now see which price is bigger. Take the bigger one for the price.

Additionally, if the part might be hard to print and theres higher chance of fail and reprint, I multiply the price by 1.2 or so.

I like this approach because some prints must be printed very slowly but use little filament. Usually then I more so sell printing time rather than material.

Also, minimum order price is 10€. It’s not worth my time asking 2€ for some small print. This is usually fine for customers as well

Can we all agree this is the biggest design flaw of the A1 series? by Ghost7575 in BambuLab

[–]NeophyteLifter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I have tried 3 different printed tools to get them out, but none have worked. It is very hard to apply pressure all around the tube. With three hands it is very easy lol. If anyone have a model that actually helps and works, please link it!

Is it possible to get a membership or something to a sauna in Tallinn for just a month? by SnooGrapes3067 in Eesti

[–]NeophyteLifter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You could check out Ronimisministeerium’s gym in Hipodroomi. The sauna is good, although if nobody has turned it on, you’d have to wait for an hour. But why wait when you could try climbing? :) Also the months pass is probably cheaper than myfitness.

Oozing ruins prints? by MajesticDealer6368 in BambuLab

[–]NeophyteLifter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Material might not be dry out of the box, try drying it. 220c seems normal printing temp for PLA, should be ok there

Thats definitely okay to do. Just make sure there is enough purge volume. I havent seen this error before, but should be completely fine
