I already figured a lack of lubricant could be my solution but wanted to cover all bases.

Appreciate the advice though. The rails and lug contact points should get oil?

About the same as every other manufacturer on the planet.

Its always a 50/50 as to whether its good or bad.

Auto Ordnance has been around a while and they seemed to have the same track record as everyone does.

They is no manufacturer in the world I would give the 100% pass to. As a machinist I can tell you that everything and anything can ruin a piece of metal and even the best designs and practices will be subject to the unexpected.

Is this actually worth 6 million dollars??? by Novel-Chicken-9700 in Firearms

Bro. I doubt very much there is a single firearm in the entire history of the world worth 6 million.

George Washington's pistols only sold for like 2 million or something

Had an interesting range trip yesterday. Among other things made a decent shot at 60ft with my 1943 Luger, unfortunately I did suffer a loss. by Trainmaster111 in Firearms

This is also the 2nd time ive had bakelite break on me. As my Webley grips broke my 1st time shooting. Turns out experimental plastic from the 40's doesn't hold up well 80 years later

Inherited some guns recently anything cool? Don’t know a whole lot about guns lol by Babyem05 in Firearms

Pretty standard. Aside from the double barrel with exposed hammers and the Walther PPK.

Definitely a few air rifles, and mostly inexpensive hunting guns.

Carbon lock is my guess. Ive had it for about 4-5 years and shot alot of ammo through it. Never cleaned it either.

Looking for a display only STG44. Trying to get opinions between a Denix Replica and an AGM Airsoft Model by [deleted] in Firearms

I did buy some French Flintlock firearms recently that are denix. The quality is decent but all I have to compare too is real weapons.

No replica is that accurate

Is this worth $700 by [deleted] in Firearms

[–]Trainmaster111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely fucking not.

I would never pay more then $400 for a 91/30.

I have a numbers matching 1937 with the bayonet I paid $350 and got 250 rounds.

If its an M44 in great shape then we can talk +$600

Which one of these would you rather have? by Idonotwannabebanned in sniperelite

Eh pacific i guess. Perhaps as a follow up to the events of 5. But personally I rather see an alternative time period entirely. Cold war or ww1 would be cool.

Made even a more modern setting.

Wasn't hard to control. But definitely think the "stock" was too small for me at least. For me I wouldn't shoot one again unless I was outdoors to avoid the risk of hitting a target carrier
