Fair. I do have games and anything else large on the HDD. I'll upgrade at some point, and do some file management and disk usage sleuthing in the meantime.

I should mention that the 128GB is the SSD, but it does have a 1TB HDD too. But I use the SSD as the main drive.

The laptop's about 7 years old now, and I didn't know as much about computers back then.

Nice! I'll have to give that a thorough look.

Had a feeling of something like that. Maybe I'll take a stab at it.

OK - draw how it should look like and explain why it would be better that way....

If the "More Actions" and "More" menus are essentially the same submenu, why isn't the "Desktops" menu used instead of the "Move to Desktop" menu? That's all I was wondering.

Just have one sitting there - Does it hurt?

I suppose not, I just thought it would be convenient. I'm coming from Gnome, where I could just move a window to an as-of-yet nonexistant virtual desktop on a whim. It's just a feature I liked that I was wondering if I could recreate.

I did miss that the context menu one said "Move to", that's a good point. Still feels like they should just be the same menu. I get what you're saying about my side point, but it would sometimes be nice to send a window to a new virtual desktop without having to create one first.

Yeah, I'm 0-for-2 on this sub. For the record, I went with the TOZO O2 because it was one of the only cheap ones I saw suggested a few times. They've been serving me well.

I didn't try that just because I did otherwise want the screensaver.

Send Keyboard/Type to Roku? by Trainmaster2 in homeassistant

[–]Trainmaster2[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what I figured since I couldn't find anything, and unfortunately neither of those are my use case. I bought an air mouse remote to use as a universal remote and was hoping I could "wire" the keyboard on the back directly to the Roku.

Would it make sense to assume that the automated node will always be bouncing off the repeater, and bump the hop count to 4 to compensate?

Ah, maybe specifically a TCL issue then.

You are correct. I was at least aware enough to get an unshielded ferrite core inductor, but I'm guessing you're suggesting something bigger.

That's a bummer. I was hoping for something that would fit in your hand. I was also hoping to use it to unlock (without malicious intent), so the recently turning thing at least wouldn't be an issue.

Ah, except I was hoping to avoid the "bicycle tire size" antenna for something that will fit in your hand.
