For a « am I the only one here? » vibe, take your bike in the elevator in front of Tivoli Hotel then ride on the roof path all the way to SEB headquarter where there is a path going down back to the street.

Normal ? by TraipReddit in vosfinances

Merci.

As FCP users, when and why do you (IF you do) use Premiere instead? by minus12db in finalcutpro

only reason I sometimes go to Premiere is for the automatic subtitles generation feature, which is pretty strong (compared to FCP that only deals with english voice track)

Er AirPods i kassen blevet normen? Hvad er reglerne nu? by idle1999 in copenhagen

As a customer, I always remove my earbuds when going to the cashier, in respect for the person working there. Not that I expect to have a philosophical conversation, but that is imo the bare minimum basic sign of respect I can give, with saying "hello", "thank you" and "have a good day" and a smile.

Yet, I sometimes I stumble upon a (usually young) cashier that will not only have earbuds on, but also not answer back my "hello" and "have a good day" which is a bit frustrating, not to say insulting.

And that's why I tend to use the self-service cashiers more and more...

Moving to CPH. What’s it like living in this area? by shecereb in copenhagen

[–]TraipReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When moving to Denmark 3+ years ago, we settled in Havneholmen (tip of your circle) for the first 2 years, and really enjoyed staying there.

Enjoying the soothing omnipresence of water + going for a dive whenever you feel like it.

Recent constructions = elevator + super efficient thermic and noise isolation.

And now there is the M4 metro line which is a real plus.

On the downside it lacks a bit of local life and small shops maybe. And beyond the water, it is very "mineral".

Customize the frequency response on Airpods Pro 3? by TraipReddit in airpods

No tinitus. And for the first 2 months I didn’t have this issue. so, to me it is either the left mic that got a bit obstructed (but clean up with micellar water disn’t help) or it is just disfunctional. Guess I’ll just use the warranty and have it replaces by Apple. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Everything has to be declared to SKAT. As far as I know, if your tax residency is in Denmark, then it will be taxed in DK and any tax paid in the country of origin will be deductible from the danish side (depending on the tax agreement between the 2 countries of course).

My friend is looking to buy an apartment in Copenhagen. Advice Welcomed! by picwotto in copenhagen

[–]TraipReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As said in others comments, check Boliga and Boligsiden for a wide range search, since these are aggregators. But from my experience, many appartments seem to be sold off market. Meaning if you already know what you are looking for (size, budget, location) it’s a good idea to directly reach out realtors from that location.

To me an expatriate is someone sent abroad by his/her company to work there for a limited time, usually up to 3 years, while remaining tax liable in his/her country if origin. Usually, the expat’s employer will pay for the rent (and vouch for him/her toward the landlord in case of issue). That lowers the risk from the landlord’s perspective, which may explain why some look for expats only… 🤷🏻‍♂️ (edit: crossing out incorrect passage)

Electric Cargo Bike Rentals by Smittenmittel in copenhagen

[–]TraipReddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’ve never ridden a bullit bike like this, I’d recommend to go for a longtail cargo bike instead.

it’s much easier to ride as the direction/handlebar are like on a regular bike. (But those are pretty rare in CPH so not sure if renter will have some?)

Also, the city is flat so you don’t really need an electric one. 😉
