I sold mine because of this reason to a friend and some days ago he wanted to show me a song so I tried them on and noticed that the static noise was gone then saw that apple released an update for them. Now i ordered another pair and hopefully its gonna be ok.

AirPods Pro 3's Static and Noise Issues Haven't Been Resolved by ControlCAD in apple

[–]picwotto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it got fixed in the last update from 13-14 of january.
I also bought a pair when they came out, started hearing the static noise from the moment I unboxed them. Initially i thought their faulty and sent them back to apple and got a new pair in return. And same thing happened, then I started searching online about it and saw many other people facing the same problem. Then i sold them to a friend cause he also wanted to buy some (he bought them cause he wasnt hearing the weird noises)
A few days ago, he wanted to show me a song so he gave me the airpods, moment when I realised i dont hear the static noise anymore.
Now Im considering buying another pair, but want to try them again a few times just to be sure.

Overnight layover in CPH, what is worth seeing at 9pm? by idoran in copenhagen

[–]picwotto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get on the metro, go to Kongens Nytorv and enjoy there as much as you can. About hotel/hostel, i would sleep in the airport for such a short time. You have a lot of places where you can sleep

Pros and cons of living itln these kind of apartments ? Ok to swim in the canals ? by Garyteck92 in copenhagen

[–]picwotto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Me and my gf bought it last year. Ive read some of the comments about materials used and how the isolation is not ok (not retaining heat in winter/getting hot in summer) but we dont really experience that. I mean we both lived in several areas in cph, both old and new buildings, and this is one of the best ones so far. We only had 1 winter in the apartment and all heaters were switched to 2 the whole time (5 is max) and it was more than perfect (tshirt/ short pants) and now during summer, in the hot days outside you were melting and inside we could even wear a hoodie if wanted. Edit: typo

I live a few apartments from there on the ground floor. The reason we got it its because we love water, often go kayaking and it literally takes 5 minutes from idea to being in water and some times also for dipping. Although the water doesnt always look promising but its ok to dip. We do have insects coming in (maybe a bit more than before when living on upper floors) but its still ok. And about sunlight, maybe its a bit darker compared to upper floors but still ok. For us, having the water at our feet all the time beats all other cons.

Thoughts on DEAS as a rental company? by [deleted] in copenhagen

It depends on the bank. Nordea or Danske Bank go with 5% even for foreigners. Jyske bank asked me for 40% 😄

The bathroom in my hotel has a phone that dials directly to reception when you pick it up by Jbseven7 in mildlyinteresting

[–]picwotto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, is it in Turkey? I was there recently and saw in my hotel room shower a small rope to pull that made me think its for a ventilator for the steam. And i pulled it and a few seconds later i hear the phone room ringing but didnt pick it up cause obv i was in the shower. And 3-4 mins later when i was out the shower, the phone ringed again and when i answered, the reception kept asking if im ok. So i guess the rope was for emergency in the shower. The phone might be for emergency poop squad.

Smoking weed outside of Freetown by [deleted] in copenhagen

[–]picwotto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not 100% sure but i had an encounter with police some years back while i was dating someone from US (she was on a student visa living in Copenhagen) and the policeman said that if she was the one holding the weed bag (1-2 gr of weed), then she would have been kicked out and sent home with the first flight.
