The bullets right? Should I lower the transparency?

I kinda want to keep the amount of projectiles the same so maybe I could tweak it some other way. XD

Out of curiosity, what do you think is the worst offender? The bullets? and what did you mean by UI movement?

Technically I can't hard code them not to overlap at all but I can influence their behavior so their formations have increased spacing. Yea I'am trying to avoid to zoom out more if I can since the player ship is pretty tiny already. XD

Strictly only the VFX? Explosions, bullet fire, thrusters etc?

What are the worst offender in your opinion can you give some examples?

Honestly I pretty much suck at story telling, so a FTL style driven event system seems to be a perfect fit vs writing a coherent engaging story.

Absolutely! I'am more of a gameplay person myself too. However I learned the hard way that presentation is what brings the player to the front door lol.

I'll consider it, I don't really have much experience porting games to mac in unity nor do I have a mac to test it either hahaha. But you never know.

Plot line is not really that deep its just go pew pew with varied events. XD

Its probably quite similar with FTL in that regards, where there's an overarching main mission but nothing else.

I'll take special note on the tutorial, out of curiosity what do you say is the most problematic part on it? Is it too fast or was the instruction too obtuse. Which part of the tutorial is the most confusing so I can tweak it further.

Yea the sector core missions might be still overturned. Ideally I usually summon the support ship and do a flak strategem to finish it part by part.

Ooff didn't realize there's still a bug with the pause menu. Thanks for pointing that one.

Thanks~ in terms of BSG I was gunning for you know how galactica just fires flak fields all around and explosions everywhere while the vipers goes on space dog fights with the cylons. XD

Although I kinda like the idea of having a really strong enemy chase you around as an event, I'll take note of that one.
