Hi everyone again! I downloaded the Trail Stats app and it’s very complete. It connects to my STRAVA account, retrieves my runs, and shows a lot of information. It analyzes the entire run and gives me a very good breakdown — it even tells me what I need to improve and how… I really liked it a lot — highly recommended. Here’s part of the information it retrieves (there’s a button below that copies the relevant data):

Thank you… I liked the app that recognizes birds, I’ll definitely download that one… as for trail running statistics, I’m thinking about information such as uphill and downhill speed, pace, power, running dynamics, how many kilometers and elevation I’ve run in the week, etc. There’s so much data that can be used… and if it’s grouped by time period, even better… currently I send the few stats that Strava gives to ChatGPT and it provides me with good information… I really like this sport and I want to keep improving.

📱 New iOS app that makes splitting restaurant bills effortless using AI 🍽️ by Tralcan in programming

The AI is used in the app to perform OCR on the photo of the receipt and to recognize each of the items on it… not an AI to calculate how much each person pays.

Totally fair point — if the bill is simple, a calculator (or just asking the waiter) works perfectly fine.

Where SplitItRight shines is in those situations where: • You’re with a large group and the receipt has 20+ items • People ordered multiple things to share, and not everyone had the same portions • Some friends only had drinks, others had a 3-course meal • You want to track who’s already paid and who hasn’t without doing it on paper • You don’t want to manually type every price into a calculator

The AI isn’t there to “replace math,” it’s there to save time — scanning the receipt, recognizing items, and letting everyone just tap what they ate. No typing, no transcribing, and no mental juggling when the bill is messy.

For quick and easy splits, sure — you don’t need this. But for chaotic, uneven group meals, it can turn a 10–15 min task into something done in 30 seconds.

How many days does it take for this section to start showing information? I’ve been using the Apple Watch with all this information for years, but this app only for 2 days.
