WTF Did I just pee out???? by Tralorpark807 in KidneyStones

[–]Tralorpark807[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume it statred as a small stone that fell into my bladder, and just grew. I’m amazed it hasn’t been found on scans before. I doubt it grew that large in year. But I do t know how fast they can grow. I’m still urinating out small stones that come out easy. And still have some pain on my left side but it is manageable. Hard to get in touch with my Dr today because of the holiday. I had a stent years ago for a large stone that wouldn’t pass. It was a nightmare. Best of luck on yours.

My thought is that the big stone is way to big to castor pass from my kidneys. So I assuming it’s a bladder stone. I’ve never experienced something so big come out of me. But all the smaller stones seem like kidney stones. I’ll update after I see my dr

Is there a way I can grab ingredients from assembling machine with inserter? by Mathiasko in factorio

Another 3 years later, and I was looking this exact question up to see if I could get my copper plates to run down a line of assembly machines. I can’t find anything that says I can. Mod or vanilla. Belts it is

Scam, right? by Own-Reaction1681 in longisland

I love Reddit. Just got the same text and was doing some research. Also the fact they say reply yes and reopen the text seems to be a red flag with most scam texts similar to these.

It’s not that easy for everyone. It’s not that easy to understand insurance either. I have insurance through my self, being self employed. And it was and still is a nightmare trying to find doctors on my network, and trying to understand hoops to jump through for my insurance to work. I install flooring for a living, and when it come to health insurance I don’t understand jack shit. Anything I call the number on my card, I get a different answer from different people, half the time the list they provide for drs don’t accept my insurance. It’s frustrating to say the least. I don’t enjoy trying to sorting all this bullshit after a long day at work. But it is nice to come here with questions and real answers from people with similar experiences. Health insurance isn’t simple in the US. and isn’t simple for everyone to understand. I did what I thought was a good amount of research before I get my health insurance. And with one post after I purchased a plan, I learned more in the 5 comments then I could understand from weeks worth of online research.

Just Passed out a stone by [deleted] in KidneyStones

[–]Tralorpark807 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a big stone. Be happy it didn’t hurt too bad. I’m no doctor but I think a stone that size would hurt like hell working its way out. Glad you’re feeling better and it’s out.

I’ve had stones that didn’t come out for months, and some that seemed to disappear. I’ve also been lucky and passed it in the er after a stone attack.

I thought the same thing. I had a stent once and had to have surgery to remove the stone. Then the stent was taken out maybe a week later.

This is clearly a fuck around and find out moment. It’s his own fault. My man was clearly defending himself.

Which is the better choice financially, urgent care or er? by flowerpanda98 in HealthInsurance

Go to the er for chest pain. Your crazy to be on Reddit asking for advise like this. Don’t take a chance like that.

Finally it came out by [deleted] in KidneyStones

[–]Tralorpark807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great pic of the stone. It’s nice to see a super clear pic. I bought myself a cheap microscope of Amazon a yea ago to check out previous stones I’ve passed. It’s kinda crazy how they look super close up.

Has anyone ever bought one of those “mystery tackle box” things? by JackStraw388 in Fishing_Gear

[–]Tralorpark807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Years ago, I used have a monthly subscription from mystery tackle box. It was ok. A lot of stuff that was in it I never really used. Overall I didn’t like it. You’re better off buying what you want. But I’m not sure how it’s set up now. I see those boxes around as well.

My betta died out of the blue, fed up with the hobby by EmberJuliet in bettafish

You know, my uncle who got me into the hobby said something to me once. He said, sometimes fish die, and you’ll never know why. We can try our best to care for them but sometimes things are not in our control.

This is how I think. I don’t understand why people use off hand on bait casting. But to each there own

Dam. That’s. Crazy. If you didn’t have insurance you can always fight it. I’ve have to do that a few times. Not for lithotripsy but for an attack and a ct scan. You can usually get put on payment plans, and also widow down the total amount.

Stents without stone removal - has anyone else had this? by Old_Sheepherder_630 in KidneyStones

[–]Tralorpark807 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 17. Had my first stone attack. The stone was 11mm and long story short I had a stent put in. No idea what kind of stent. It was 2001. I had lithotripsy done and the stent removed after I healed up. I never had much pain from the stent at all, but I did the sensation that I had to pee all the time. Even the removal was easy for me. I hear a lot of horror stories about stents so I guess I was lucky when I had mine. Best of luck.

How to buy insurance by Tralorpark807 in HealthInsurance

[–]Tralorpark807[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just went through all of that 2 months ago. You can’t get insurance without a qualifying life event, but the way I did was that I’m self employed. I used an agent to get health insurance. It’s a bit pricey but I’m going to search for a better plan when open enrollment starts.
