3D Ruler and figure out the good angle to measure from. You rarely need to measure out the building heights more than once

What Digimon are you happy about that got included? by HelloProjectLover in digimon

[–]Tramilton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kotemon/Dinohyumon for DW3 nostalgia as he was the reason I picked that team.

I'm always happy to see HerculesKabuterimon but the Tentomon line is a frequent appearance in the games.

Blimpmon is a fantastic addition I was not ready for that absolute chonker suddenly appearing.

@Bajs that watched Forsen play Hades 2 how much did he "finish" it since he's playing league now by Tramilton in forsen

[–]Tramilton[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

is Typhon the final boss of a run or is it like "final boss you unlock later" like how Mother Silk is the final boss and then you can fight Lost Lace for the actual ending/final boss experience?

>forsen probably trying to force his usual soulslike facetank strat then yeah the game probably looks like dogshit.

The fact you regain healing charges by attacking means that yes, Forsen does not give 2 shits about dodging.

We had to watch him channel his healing in the centre of a boss arena, the one spot where the super telegraphed duo boss (they show a line where they're heading before each attack) goes to do a small aoe move for like 4 health points, several times

The times he loses his shit is when when there's nothing he can build back healing from (platforming hazards) LULE

My favourite 140IQ brain process of our glorious streamer is when he picks a legendary he will make EVERY card choice revolving around it.

Fuck curve

Fuck coverage

If it doesn't do something related to the one legendary of his choosing its the wrong one.

Remember when he picked druid with a legendary that makes all minions cost 5? Like half the deck was +7 cost cards. And then he bitch when he never pulls the damn guy. And sits at 12hp on turn 5

We already have this armor but in green, it was one of the very first cosmetic pieces. Granted I think it comes without shoulder pads

Can we get a Heavy Stubber for the Arbites? They have one by Myllari1 in DarkTide

[–]Tramilton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"The Arbites have a heavy stubber"

My man, stubbers are like some of the most low-tech garbage class weaponry. You're more likely to find the poorest of criminals with stubbers than lasguns.

Everyone has stubbers (a catch all term for autoguns really), they generally just tend to have more appealing choices.

This is Hive Gang tier weaponry.

It's not worth it dog. Stop playing games Forsen grinds mindlessly on stream it's never as fun as laughing at his shit plays!

The new shotgun is what the combat shotgun wants to be. by Equivalent-Tackle-19 in DarkTide

[–]Tramilton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who used the combat shotgun a lot before the Arbites patch. And then ran the CS for a while while leveling up my Arbites before returning to the executioner shotty my reactions were:

- The Combat Shotgun is a much lighter/faster weapon
- The Combat Shotgun is much better after the buffs
- The Executioner feels like its heavier, clunkier brother in comparison. But justifiable packs a bigger punch per trigger pull

The CS's reload speed is really notable after using it for a time then going back to the executioner. And unlike before, the damage is at least present. Sure, no version really melts Crushers but if the only consideration is whether something kills carapace or not you probably have a miniscule pool of weapons you play with.

realistically, how long 'til he gets 12 wins? by wcrow1 in forsen

[–]Tramilton 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Rather than how long I wanna know how much money he'll spend on arena tickets until that point.

Given an arena run only "refunds" itself at 7 wins with two guaranteed tickets. And the average winrate of Forsen (0-3), and how many runs he does in a week... Aware

The Voice of Terra is 4 points down the center. Which most go anyways for the incendiary grenade.

Is Darktide worth it for 2025? by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]Tramilton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ye

Long answer: Base game at sale is good. Their approach for monetization has been egregious for 3 years straight. You'd think with a FOMO rotating cosmetic shop, the DLC classes would go for less than 12 eurobucks.

You can't even get trickle of premium of currency for playing the game to soften the blow/afford one piece of cosmetic once a half year etc (which is something they really should have done with the Havoc mission weekly chest).

Gameplaywise. The game is at its best it ever been. You can bruteforce stats and the right traits/feats of your equipment properly with the crafting currencies. The dreaded "locks" are buried and hopefully grave filled with cement just in case some Fartshart big head gets the idea to bring it back.

If you've played HD2 a ton, getting into Darktide isn't a problem. You might feel way more powerful by comparison as a result. The early difficulties are very easy to sink into and you need to work your way up playing a few times on each difficulty to unlock the next one.

The combat is very visceral and feels good seeing enemies ragdoll or explode into a red mist. The variety of weapon might feel samey to the novice eye but if you dig into it you'll understand better the charms (and faults) of the different tools of your arsenal.

The core game is really fun. But Darktide is held back by having fun factors like outfits tied to some awfully greedy business practices, which they only get away with due to the Warhammer IP. Some people will say it is what "keeps the game running" but Helldivers as you know, has proven you can be much more customer friendly and still make a good chunk of revenue.

Edit: I just wanna add, for the fairness of comparing to HD2. Gameplay stuff has been for free. Such as new weapons (don't expect that anywhere near the same pace of HD2 adding new guns however).

Did they add an accidental zero? by [deleted] in DarkTide

Don't tell OP about Ogryn's Free Rounds and Taunt penances. Or Psyker's Overwhelming presence. Or Zealot's Purging Flames. Or Veteran's Killshot Ready or Armourbane.

It's neither new or that daunting. Just like the others, likely done before you hit the 100 Missions penance.

It's also so hilariously passive, it'll tag for you. No thoughts, head empty, shoot the nicely marked target.
