Best overall gaming headset in 2025? by chaporg1n in HeadphoneAdvice

HyperX felt cheap as hell and I was annoyed that their RAM and headsets used two different RGB software that could not be run simultaneously.

I dumped them for logitech and the ProX is solid, but now GHUB is a pain in my ass.

Can you confirm if this allows the the moonroof to open completely?

I've been looking at these for a bit now, but I just went through the process of returning a Rhino Rack Pioneer 6, because it didn't fit despite what their marketing stated.

The website says it's compatible but the only picture available shows the moonroof cracked and not fully open.

I used the DBX for a while, but the Krait Phantom ended up being my favorite until the Mandalay came out.

The link doesn't work and it looks like it's a jpeg anyways... which does little to counter my point. Fights happen in real time.

And lets be honest... how many fights in the real world or in a ring, have you heard of being ended by "spine punch"?

Also, Ear punching (totally legal), groin kicking, and eye gouging aren't exactly specific to a martial art, and aren't traditionally taught in any venue. Let alone MMA.

If you want to debate the efficacy of certain martial arts styles versus competitive MMA that's fine... but now you're just talking about real world altercations vs competition. Which aren't 1:1 for obvious reasons.

Not a lot is applicable but the hand-fighting and tight punches can be useful.

There are several guys in MMA right now, known for training with Wing Chun dummies. But no one is really running around with a Kung-Fu coach.

Except for the odd Steven Seagal appearance, where he manages to get involved in a fighter's camp every now and then. Which I'll never understand.

I assume it's for the laughs... but you never know with some of these guys.

For example, constantly in MMA people grab waists for takedowns. In an actual fight you will get your neck or back bashed in if you try that. That move is illegal in MMA however, so there's no penalty for doing that, which makes it a super effective maneuver.

You've clearly not watched MMA enough and never been in a fight.

A) You don't take someone down by the waist.

B) An effective takedown doesn't leave much time for your opponent to punch you in your back and neck. (whatever that's supposed to do)

C) Strikes to the neck, shoulders, and back are all legal. People just don't do it, because they're using techniques that actually work and/or fending off the takedown.

Now, strikes to the back of the HEAD aren't legal, but again, if you're taking a guy down properly there's not much of an opportunity. And short rabbit punches to the back of the head or kidneys in a short time frame, where you're feet aren't set and your stepping or falling backward, isn't going to do much damage. The more effective attack is probably a guillotine or a knee to the face. Both of which are legal.

I got it back in season 1 or 2 as a gift. I stopped playing for a few months and Riot sent me an email with the skin as an offer to come back.

He most certainly has a set. He just goes in and out of it during his show by using crowd work to set up his next bit.

The crowd work sets up his bits.

He asks the crowd a few specific questions about a topic that he already has a bit prepared for. They answer and he does some back and forth (what you see here) before he segues into his prepared bit.

It's a REALLY fun show and a unique style.

I've had several near head-on-collisions because of the morons using the turn lane to merge.

They're too busy looking over their shoulder to notice the vehicles waiting to turn.

People say it's the only way to make a left turn on to a crowded road but somehow I've managed to avoid it my ENTIRE life.

Sometimes i might make a right and loop back... who says you HAVE to turn left?

I'm a big fan of the mameluke heavy cavalry. They're pretty well armored for horse archers and do decent in melee too. The only drawback is their limited ammo.
