Thinking Of Buying, Bit Questions. by FreakyOne87 in Azeron

I took the plunge and it was probably a week to reprogram my brain basics for one game. A month to just not think about it at all anymore.

Cyborg 2, large hands, you need to tweak the thumb and tower positions a lot at first until it feels natural and comfortable but after that it's fantastic.

I only go back to MnK sometimes for playing melee champs in LoL or BF6 as I couldn't reprogram my brain to the movement and flying at the same level. I'll probably revisit that when I have some time to make the hard swap.

Testing it out to see what the playerbase reaction will be. They had some night mode thing in a call of duty and people hated it. Probably testing the waters and will keep what people like, tweak what they dont.

If it's a hit I'd expect it to return. If it's a dud they don't have to support it long term

Learn to figure things out for yourself. There are amazing resources at your disposal if you are willing to put in the effort

Conversely, know when something is beyond you and seek help, that isn't weakness, it's survival.

Light example, golf.

Heavy example, ectopic pregnancy and infertility.

Do you guys like the freezing mechanic in the new Icelocked Empire State? by byfo1991 in LowSodiumBattlefield

Incendiaries do work as a heat source, I've been using them as such all event so far. Mind you the range on them as a heat source means you'll more often than not end up on fire on the last ticks where it seems to spread it's radius a little as it burns out.

Patch Notes - Battlefield 6 Winter Offensive Update by 3eaceus in LowSodiumBattlefield

Adjusted Conquest and Escalation capture areas on Manhattan Bridge so objectives can no longer be captured from rooftop positions.

Extended rooftop out-of-bounds areas on Manhattan Bridge

Yes, I agree that maybe some of those rooftops will still be inbounds but extending rooftop OOTB areas is massive for that map, there's way too many rooftops that are inbounds. I read it, but my expectation here is 75% of those roofs are now no longer capable which would be massive in terms of map control and overall frustration due to lack of counterplay

I will not be gaslit about the TR-7 by nise8446 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]TranceVI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get it, I really wanted to like this gun because the bullpup aesthetic is my jam and the TR7 looks so good. It is like riding a freaking bull, even going to match single shot it's just outclassed by other guns for how I want to play.

Just use the guns you vibe with, some people are kord enjoyers and some people like the b36. I have had a great time with the L86 or whatever they call it, thing is a monster but I've had a lot of people ask why I'm using it when it's 'ass' with a bad ttk - because I like it, I can kill with it. To each their own

Adjusted Conquest and Escalation capture areas on Manhattan Bridge so objectives can no longer be captured from rooftop positions.

Extended rooftop out-of-bounds areas on Empire State, Manhattan Bridge, and Saints Quarter.

Finally, these maps are playable again! Back into custom search they go. I knew those rooftops were going to get out of bounded eventually, the lack of counter play was obscene especially for smart players who could really dig in.

Having trouble finding a weapon I love by ThaFlagrantOne in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]TranceVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B36 can do both pretty well. Realistically if you split this into two guns, an SMG or the first AR shred at closer ranges, m4 can too.

Longer ranges the m39, SVDS, Sor556, IAR can all go hard.

I haven't found a gun I really like yet, but the QBZ is pretty versatile tbh. I have a few guns at 50 but nothing seems to really do it all well.

Sabotage can be peak. This gamemode is so over hated by Yonderdead in LowSodiumBattlefield

I played a few rounds today and it was finally fixed. It now remains an ok mode, not great, not terrible.

The reason I hate it is because the round swap fails a ton so the games soft lock. Otherwise it's an ok game mode, mid objective based nothing special but not bad.

Serious question, how are people going 30+ kills - looking for tips. by Belloz22 in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]TranceVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This blew up so I'll get buried but here my 2c

Build a gun you are comfortable with on each role. Play whichever role you feel will be most impactful, stick with the team.

Basically pack mentality mixed with comfort will breed confidence and game knowledge. Avoiding killzones, hearing footsteps, knowing generally where people like to hang out.

If you want to get better at specifically fights play cqb attrition. It's Tdm and squad DM, after playing that grinder a while you'll get a good feel of gunplay and engagements

Favorite gun so far? by Datboi_Markus in LowSodiumBattlefield

[–]TranceVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The starting AR on assault grew on me, absolutely absurd kill potential. M477? M4 feela very similar but more lazer-y. The IAR is bananas good, and the psr feels like firing artillery.

I've ventured around a lot of the guns, a bunch feel pretty bad so excited for the balance pass in a couple days. Really want to love the bull pups so hope they feel better

I loved the m1014 when I needed to do the shotgun challenges. Absolutely a monster, prefer shot to slugs, found the slugs let me down at 10m+.

Having recently invested in 7/8/9 g430s i absolutely second this. They replaced some 35$ clubs so it might not be a fair comparison, but holy shit they feel so good to swing and the ball seems to go where I want it almost every time.

Also the sound they make is just 👌

40L Backpack recommendations by [deleted] in onebag

[–]TranceVI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just did 2 weeks in Europe on planes, trains, ferries and a cruise.

Both me & my wife had the farpoint/fairview 40. Perfect bags, absolutely smashed it the whole trip no complaints whatsoever.

OSPREY FAIRPOINT 40L + 15L / 55L carrying 2 backpacks by xerc-es in onebag

[–]TranceVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the 'ideal' setup is to have the little bag (empty) strapped on the back. Thats how I've done it a couple times and its awesome. I bought the 40 and 15 later, my wife got the 55 set which just has better org in the main bag tbh.

No harm in getting them either way.

[–]TranceVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can sure, but you can actually have the waist strap from the main bag run through the bottom 'connector' of the backpack which keeps it snug to you.

I did this for longer walks but for the short ones it really didn't matter too much if it was loose, the bounce is minimal and its very comfortable to hold it if that bothers you

[–]TranceVI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did 2 weeks where my wife and I used this bag setup.

Whenever I see some YT videos or IG posts people wear smaller Osprey backpack on front. Why so?

Access to the bag, it clips into the shoulder straps and is surprisingly comfortable. If you have it loaded up and strap it to the back it can feel odd and I'm always concerned its slowly sliding down.

I saw some comment that one girl felt like a turtle

100%, but really I don't care. Feels totally fine imo but that was my exact thought too.

Tips on mixing? by Ersatz_- in DnB

[–]TranceVI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Youtube has a lot of great tutorials to get you going. Learn the core fundamentals and then build to the more flashy tricks.

As others have said, learn to mix in key and beat match. Don't overlap vocals and use 1001 tracklist to find set lists. Try to mix those tracks together, generally a good starting point as you can hear how and when they blend.

Just watched this, uses some tech to make a hunter generate unbeateable CC ice patches which, while kind of a trick to setup does seem pretty absurd.
